Thought I had the flu, but after 5-6 days the doctor tells me I have a respiratory infection.... In the lower right lung... great present from the youngest daughter who had it earlier and got a hefty treatment (prednison) due to that she has asthmatic issues also.

I got a treatment for a week of doxycycline. Hope there won't be nasty side effects.

Hope you get well soon, Steg! I can sort of relate as I once had a case of pneumonia, luckily my family's good at bouncing back from that kind of stuff. :-)

@Padre & Xathrodox, I'm so sorry to hear that guys, my best wishes go out to both of you. :icon_cry:

That's what took both my grandpas from me not too long ago. The first one, my papa Bill (God rest his good soul), never even got to see his first great granddaughter who was born only a few months later. He went down fighting though, cancer was what did him in but it took several other illnesses to put him the hospital in the first place. He was always tough as old leather.

And it's not that I really feel sick (now that the flu symptoms have gone...) more like tired and hard to keep focused combined with a nasty cough that doesn't want to go yet, but should about half way in to the treatment

Not yet, which I really should, come to think about it. :icon_redface:

I remember buying a mate a book about how Jews, bankers, Masons and the CIA were conspiring to bring back the Knights Templar and create the New World Order. The author was super serious.

I don't know what I'm doing anymore. I seem to get in trouble for EVERYTHING I say online. Yesterday, I just wanted to talk with other people on different forums about Rouge 1 but they couldn't be civil could they. Why do star wars fans now think they have to hate everything with a burning passion. Not even Dark Angels are as bitter and hate filled as star wars fans.
I once saw a man in his 50's berate a tween for wearing a Rey costume. Certainly was brave of him wasn't it. How much courage does it take to threaten a kid?

We had a long discussion on this sight when a female Rogue 1 lead was met with some disdain...

film looks awesome, can't wait to see it and join you in the spoiler thread!

Me too, gonna see it tomorrow with my 2 brothers. I've already heard one person describe it as possibly the best Star Wars film yet, and yes, he meant including The Empire Strikes Back, and no he wasn't some young person for whom the originals are those quirky low tech movies, but a guy in his 40's. I hope he's right!!

It is good. It's like the sort of story a good GM would create as a scenario for a Star Wars RP game, but big budget.
Photobucket has now re-destroyed my pictures, so the first half of my collected works thread is no longer working again. To see my website version of the campaign thread, with fully functioning pictures, please go to https://bigsmallworlds.com/

Well, I wish I could share in your hype but I have a hard time seeing anything positive now.

Trump wants more nukes and to use them. Within 4 years we have The last war on Earth.

Grandma is 84. The sad thing was that the family tradition of fighting and feuding at Christmas lunch continues :icon_cry: She'll most likely never live to see a 'good' one.
All I ever want for Christmas is a 'nice' atmosphere but my family CAN NEVER be civil to each other  :eusa_wall:

After the train wreck of lunch [which is an unfortunate tradition], I went to visit my welfare cheat, bone idle brother who has become fatter than Greasus Goldtooth. The lazy slob couldn't be civil either nor could he be bothered to help his handicapped son, unwrap his presents. He then has the gall to say 'I'm too poor to get the pets medicine' but he had a stack of recently bought xbox games. I left early as I was a fraction away from kicking his fat ass into orbit  :icon_evil:
