Henerius ... looks like the battle report you've shown previously.  How did the rules play out?  Figures look great!

It has been a while and I played it... once.

I am certain of this:
-you give order cards to youre units.
-then you execute them per unit in IgoUgo with youre oponent.

It is possible for youre opponent to remove a target for a unit, being the order charge or shoot. You can do the same offcourse
But what stuck with me the most was the feeling of a "rolling" battle that goes back and forth.

I really enjoyed his one, have to do that again soon.

I ended up doubling my pledge. :icon_rolleyes: :icon_lol:

Looking forward to having some of the militia with MPC uniforms. :icon_cool:

Only a little longer for the Mediterranean Buildings Kickstarter ...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1769675828/mediterranean-village-28mm-laser-cut-hdf-terrain?ref=nav_search&result=project&term=mediterranean%20village

I can see myself using these for Tilea, Estalia, Sartosa, the Karibbean, and various historical ideas in Spain (Peninsula War, Spanish Civil War), Italy (Medieval, Renaissance, even WW2), and the Caribbean (Pirates, various wars on the islands).  Perhaps even some Imagi-nations ideas.  :icon_mrgreen: :icon_cool:

Following up on these ...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1418344245/polishlithuanian-commonwealth-28mm-metal-miniature?ref=thanks-recommendations

... I ended up only pledging for 3 packs.  Spaced pledging for 5 with a 6th pack for free and the leader figure.  Maybe they'll let us add things on afterwards or increase our pledge during the ordering process.

These aren't historical, yet instead pulp oriented, although I put their last kickstarter in here as well ...

Not sure how much my wallet is going to pledge, but I do like this project.

So many good kickstarters, so little budget. Especially when I know I have a small mountain of Fireforge stuff coming.

I did! I only got a little bit, but they're primed and in my (massive) painting back log. I use them for my French and Indian wars games though, so I'm somewhat out of time.

I suspect most folks probably wouldn't know the difference.  This stuff is about the play anyway. :icon_cool:

Exactly. I just wanted some dudes in kilts with vaguely musket looking guns. Got exactly what I wanted.

These new British Government troops (some folks are calling them Hanoverians  :icon_cool: :icon_lol:) are being sculpted with the coats closed, since it was much cooler conditions during the time frame of the 1745 Rebellion.

These figures could also work for fighting against your Jacobites in a different era, perhaps even using the new Patriots and Rebels rules from Osprey, and by the same guy who did Lion Rampant, Dragon Rampant, and Pikemen's Lament.

Eeek! Those look good!

(Dang ... not another era, GP?)

I here ya.  They could make decent looking Bretonnians too.  And see, there's this campaign idea I have in the Border Princes ...

They fit into an in-between period for me. I've thought about doing some skirmish gaming in The Anarchy period (because I loved watching Brother Cadfael) and have thought about gaming some HYW/Free Companies chaos. The Baron's Wars fits the interest of high medieval mayhem, politics, heraldry, and chivalry... before it all got blown away by the realities of total war and nationalistic ideas.

I don't understand this obsession with miniatures, such a silly hobby, and yet here I am.  I made it through not pledging yesterday, and there a little under two weeks for deciding, yet don't think I'll make it with out a pledge, even just to have one of each figure.  Paul Hicks is the sculptor, and I've always enjoyed his work, the Flags of War guy has him making figures for Jacobite 1745, and I've previously bought into that era, silly me.

They're very, very fine miniatures. And they cover a very distinct and interesting period regarding armour and helmets. Didn't make a pledge though, since I've been searching and buying miniatures fitting this period for a year now, and think I might have enough...

It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.
