Tom's Total Empire Presentation
« on: April 21, 2011, 08:56:19 AM »
Hi All,

Since I have recently returned to the hobby after a break of two years I need a way to keep myself motivated with my painting. I started this thread with that in mind, so I hope that you don't mind me sharing my ongoing struggle against time - running a business, building a home and looking after a newish baby doesn't leave much in the way of free time. That having been said, I am managing to squeeze a few hours a week into painting and crafting! I have a huge amount of unpainted and half painted models. With 20k of Empire of which about 20% is painted, I have a long way to go.

I'm going to start with recently painted characters. I'll then post a pics of the entire army...

Hi and welcome back! Looks like these models have really been worth the squeezed time, I especially like that glowing effect on the Wizard's sword and the paintjob on MadCount himself.
The reason for my uniform being a slightly different color to yours is never explained.

Looks good m8!! hope to see more!

What Province is your army going to be?? Can't figure it out from just the characters :)
Or do you have a multi state army in mind (especially with 20k of Empire)?

I would say Sylvania. :engel:

Hi, the province of choice is Ostland. I went for a black and white army then realised which province that would be. I am a proud Ostlander now!

Yeah it's still available, but through direct order only. It's in the collectors section of the GW website.

The Griffon Banner fella is such a great figure. Pleasure to paint.

Well, I thought that I'd include a general shot of my craft area. This is where the'magic' happens...

Wow! You have exactly the same lamp as me. My uncle gave me mine as a gift, so I can only presume he gave you one too!
Photobucket has now re-destroyed my pictures, so the first half of my collected works thread is no longer working again. To see my website version of the campaign thread, with fully functioning pictures, please go to https://bigsmallworlds.com/
