It asks for a ‘to-list’ email address, which implies we need to know the email address of the person we are sending to? Has anyone sent any messages? What did you use as the ‘to-list’ email address?

Normally when you sign a condoleance-book you leave an adress, so the relatives have a chance, when they feel the need, to thank you for youre condoleances. Not everybody does that, but most funerals I attended there was a condoleance-book.

It's a sad day that we lost such an inspiring soul. My deepest condolences to all friends and family of Steveb.
I may disagree with what you say but I respect your right to be punished for it.

On behalf of Steveb wife Peggy. Thank you all for the love and support you showed. Steveb Memorial service was yesterday,  great turn out, with full military honors ( he served in the Airforce during Vietnam) She had set a display of Steveb work and had many questions about the small figurines  and just how amazing his art was especially on such a small figure haha. Steveb remains are being flown out today ( 1-23-2019) and he will be laid to rest in Illinois, I'm not sure where.

His collection will be continued to be displayed in as much glory and coolness as I can muster with my limited understanding of technologies haha.

On a personal note thank you for the kind messages, posts, and support. I feel like this site is family in a weird dysfunctional way   :-P

NOW SMILE and go paint ( Steveb Orders)   :::cheers:::

So question? Steveb has a nice pygmy army, however, its very derogatory in todays PC world. Is this something I should make a video of for anything GW history ? I could put a disclaimer on it or should I just leave it out all together?

I’ve had this problem with a GW store when I wanted to enter my pygmies in a competition. Some A** made a comment and after a discussion with the manager we both decided it probably wasn’t a good idea for the entry to go in the shop window in this over PC world – I always recount this story as “the R** B*** spent more money than me so I got thrown out”.

While some thought should be given to the reaction of the audience, on the whole those who seek out your video will be fans of or interested in Warhammer, rather than in my case Joe Public walking past a window.

Pygmies are an important part of history so must be included – too much of the past is whitewashed out but you can’t hide the fact it happened.

As Arthur once said “Publish and be Damned”

I would say no, don't put out a video on the pygmies. No reason to revisit racist stereotypes of the past. There is plenty of good stuff to revel in. The only 'proper' way to show pygmies is accompanied by a lecture from some history professor who explains Jim Crow and minstrels and what damage that is doing into the present day.

:|Absolutely post them. Thin skinned PC types be danged. They are a goofy, characterful and wonderful part of GWs past.

Steveb himself had no problem sharing them.
