you can indeed paint fast if you let the washes do the work,

I'm starting to think painting about 5 rank and file in one go is optimum.

Ahmen to that just finished four 12hr night shifts , the pay is ok but not enough to get some drunk tit threaten you for the millionth time you have been sent to him. you got to love the fact every one has the right for a ambulance even if they are abusing that rite. Tried to do some painting when I came in from work and messed up my knights banner and it looks all patchy yellow school boy error on my behalf but wanted to play but no sleep is not good for good painting.

Guys I've done these 10 Halberds, using greatswords , lol

i cut the swords off and used Militia Halberds ,

not perfect but from a distance the poses look ok i think

I've been using the same flesh recipe for months now.

Skull White Spray base,

Tallarn flesh base coat,

wash with gryphon + babac 50/50,

highlight dwarf flesh,

then up to elf flesh

i sprayed it with this matt spray i got in B and Q,

espresso colour!

then a massive dry brush of light grey, and purity sealed ,

not finished yet

I was looking at the pic. Loving the guy 2nd in from the left on the front row. Thinking he would look way kool with a sword. Too bad he wasn't a Greatsword. Then i read above the pic for where these guys came from.

no really i never liked the way GW painted theirs...so if your not even finished yet, its going to look great!!...hahahaha
