Hi everyone

My name is Dan and I am a long time lurker on the brush and pallette. For the last year or two I have been blown away by some of the threads that have appeared on here, and have drawn an enormous amount of inspiration from many talented Empire generals.

I decided I could no longer sit back and not contribute to such a great forum, so it is an honour to show you all my Altdorf army.

These guys are still WIP but are getting very close to completion, & over the next few weeks I hope to update this thread with many more units as I finish them.

Arch Lector Willahelm von Brichtoff accompanied by 39 of Emperor Franz's personal honour guard.

The lamp posts at the back function, I just need to wrap the wires under the bases

Ludwig Schwarzhelm bearer of the Imperial Banner

C&C is a must, and is greatly appreciated

Your skill is evidently very good, especially the free hand on cloaks and the banner, the washes are spot on.

Your bases are also above average. Love the castle gate as well.

Ludwig S. is he finecast? The mini looks a bit rough on the surface.

Could you post bigger pic of the whole company?

Hi Dan.
I'm sure your army-blog will blow quite a few people away on its own, once you post more of your stuff. Wonderfull selection and combination of models and conversions, more close-ups are welcome.
If this is your WIP-stuff I can't wait to see stuff you've worked hard on and finished

Damn this is going to be some kind of mirecle thread that keeps empire generals from going insane on state troop torture! We will look to the altdorfians for support guidance and above all inspiration. It is small but the green highlights are fantastic and really bring focus onto the face/banner where it is rightfully needed!

Its KF on foot is it? I am impressed by your clean paint jobs and conversion works. Really nice!

Very excellent work, I like your clean style. It's very neat and beautiful while still making these guys look like real soldiers and not parade clowns.
