oh sig... she has one at her parents place in maine.

yeah just wish she wasnt on the other end of the country.  On the topic of the fish tank, a buyer has been found, just waiting for them to come pick it up.

Funny barefoot anecdote:

A couple of summers ago I was walking barefoot through the city when I encountered a friend of mine, also barefoot, and we greeted each other with a high five. A few meters later a guy came up to me and asked if I knew the guy I high fived or if that was just something we barefooters do.

I asked Ellie if we could barefoot the children today, she said only if we painted their feet to look like they had shoes so no one called social services on us.
I don't care about the rules.

I must admit, I do feel inclined to talk to other barefoot people I encounter, just because it's so rare to see any.

Ha ha! That's a valid reason.
Hey, I could still beat up a woman!

Waterproof body paint, and you'll never have to buy shoes for your children again ...  :icon_lol: ... that's a happy thought, especially when your girls are growing so fast and hate to buy shoes. We have to get new ones at least every three or four months (three pairs each time - outdoor shoes, shoes for indoor and outdoor sport lessons at school).  :icon_rolleyes:

I saw a guy who was walking down the street barefoot once. I stepped on him with my boots. Not because I don't like people walking around barefoot. But I was just so mesmerized by the crusty nastiness walking toward me I forgot to move out of the way...

I don't know what they coat the streets with where you live, but I find that my feet feel a lot fresher when they haven't been cooped up in a pair of sweaty shoes all day. Dirt's just dirt.

When do you know painting really has become a passion?

The moment you realise you start liking the quiz show your children watch every evening for exactly 30 minutes because it gives you time to add another layer to some of your minis ...   :biggriin:

Whatever it is about a beautiful spring day that makes you feel like anything is possible, I'm loving it right now.   :smile2:

Watched a soccer match this weekend with my 2.5 year old.  Three most popular comments:

- He kicked the ball
- Oops, hit his head
- He fall down

she loved it.  watched the pilot 2 parter and train job.  suppose to continue tonight when she gets back from bible study.  damn I wish she was in state.  :|

I begrudgingly post this picture and loathe myself for getting interested in a girl on the other part of the country. :closed-eyes:

Bible study? Bagged yourself a Born-Again Babe, eh?  :icon_mrgreen:

In all seriousness, congrats. An LDR can be good for one's ego and provide incentive to do some travelling. The important thing is to be willing to trade the interweb relationship in for an IRL relationship if a cool local girl came along. I caused a lot of bad feelings six years ago because I was really into an internet friend from Texas and neglected my local girlfriend.
