I never could get into the ME series, but even my friends, who are die-hard fans of this saga, say that Andromeda looks poor.

What I want to know is how my wood elf ranger can be ambushed by 10+ black orcs bosses in full plate armor.

I found this extremely funny. 😸

I'm cautious about it. Will wait for a week or two, and wait for the opinions of a couple reviewers I trust before buying it. In general I would love to play a good ME again. But yes, ME3 burned me pretty hard, and in retrospect Inquisition didn't have all that much meat on its bones (a lot of fat though). Let's say I'm ready to be pleasantly surprised.

Really looking forward to Playerunknowns Battlegrounds though, which goes into EA around the same time next week.

Oh I did buy it. Or well, I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2, actually. Great game, but I didn't feel the need to buy a remake that was said to have less content, better graphics be damned.

I LOVED Mass Effect 2.  I am part way through Mass Effect 3 (I don't like it well enough to give it the full attention it deserves).  I am in no way interested in Mass Effect Andromeda.  I don't like Bioware games anymore.  They do the same thing over and over and over, and its the kind of same thing that I don't find appealing enough to go through again and again.  I like Dragon Age 1, I liked KOTOR 1 and especially KOTOR 2.  But thats pretty much the end of it.

Did you play DA: Inquisistion? I highly recommend it. It's really the best Bioware game in the last 5 years. Skip DA 2.

I have it!  Most of the way through I think.  Not really hooked on it, but it wasn't bad.  I should dig it out and finish it!

"Shining Force - 76Z8K-6R8EB-CF7Z5"

One of my favorite games, luckily I already got the Sega collection for the Xbox. :biggriin:

(Tarnished a little by the fact that Sega made it as a screw-you to Nintendo and their Fire Emblem which is another favorite of mine.)

Haha, funny that the 28th is also my birthday. :icon_lol: (sad that I don't own a Xbox one, though...)

Upgrade processor (and maybe mobo) in a couple of years.

Yeah, the FX 6300 is probably getting long in the tooth for new CPU intensive games.

Ryzen its out now, and Intel won't have a choice but to lower their prices so it's a good time to buy CPUs again in the coming years.

When i built it (with your help) it was built with the aim to upgrade gfx fairly soon.

Didn't realise it was 4 years old already.

I think I might need a new monitor.  I nice big gaming one.

Not particularly worried about resolution, it's because my eyes are getting old...

I use a 30 inch LG TV as a second monitor. It's good for videos and stuff I don't need to be particularly high res, but it's not like the quality is bad.

Just bought ME:A on Origin.  Installing it now.  I am really excited as it goes back to the roots of exploration.  Plus its a big colony building game.  Can't wait to slap on the old N7 armor and assemble the team!
