Wiss, how good is your computer?

Basically, on what settings do you run Medieval 2?

(Or press Windows Key+R and type dxdiag and copy down the processor and memory, then switch to the display tab and copy down the name and total memory)

I ask because the only way to play Oblivion is with mods galore.

I don't play a lot of games on my computer anymore since it's not really set up for all that stuff.  Medieval 2 runs kind of slow on it.

Bioshock is an awesome story-tastic FPS with some RPg elements, set in an underworld city which was a utopia, but is now not....

I think its my favourite console game ever.

I loved Bioshock as well.  It's the only game I've ever played that my wife actually sat there and watched me play.  She did so because Rapture (the setting) looked so cool and because she got hooked on the story and setting (she's read a lot of Ayn Rand, so it was a natural fit for her).

Aside from Mario regurgitation no. 1479 the wii really is kind of irrelevant nowadays.

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are amazing, mariokart is amazing, zelda games obviously, and then xenoblade chronicles looks good.

Not a great lineup really, for a 5 year old console.

in fallout new vegas, I just got attacked by a group of legionary assassins. (They hate me because when they guy said "if you have a problem with us crucifying this town, attack us", so I did)
Managed to win on the 3rd time of asking.

I'm at ranger station charlie.
If I put all their good stuff in a dumpster there, can I come back and get it to sell later, when I'm not encumbered?

Yes, the Wii is irrelvant, but it's games are classic.  5 years from now, in some college dorm, guys will drag out a nintendo console and play those old games they did as kids.

As long as Nintendo can produce a relevant console every 10 years or so, it'll stay strong.

The Wii may be irrelevant to "hardcore" gamers playing RPGs, sports sims, and FPSs, but they're not the only gamers out there.  The wii is almost the only console my wife plays.  And my sister in law.  And my niece.  And my parents-in-law.  It fills a niche market, in the grand scheme of video games, but it's a fairly big -- and until the wii, almost completely untapped -- niche.  And in my experience, the Xbox Kinnect hasn't filled that niche as well as the Wii, for whatever reason.

And the fact the wii sells more than then 360 and ps3 suggests that niche is not so small.

But I'd rather they catered to "proper" gamers as well.
If they could manage to get all the sweet first party games, AS WELL as all the bigger releases then that would be amazing.
