Total bull. It's an inside joke referencing the removal of greaves as an armor item in Skyrim.

Can't it be both?

The only reference to it being about marriage I could find is here: http://www.ask.com/answers/48485721/what-does-the-term-i-took-an-arrow-to-the-knee-mean

That appears to be a troll answer from some jackass.

So, no. It can't be both.

FFH Blood Dragon is well worth $15. It's really excellent, though I wouldn't want it to be any longer than it is (10ish hours).

I've been doing a fair bit of Civ 5 recently. Trying to get a couple of the local friends together for a multy player game.

One of the few turn based games I enjoy for more than one play through.

you try xcom?

steam just announced its pre-order from Rome2: total war.  If you prepurchase it, you get the greek city states (epirus, athens or sparta).  No after the A:CM prepurchase fiasco, I was a bit leery on prepurchasing again.  But when it comes to TW, I think I may make an acception.

Pure purchase for a faction?

Are we gonna see faction dlc too?

Do not want.

I fear in the not to distant future you get to by the engine and a single faction then all the rest a $5 day one DLC......

This really blows though being that if they are doing minor factions as day one DLC it really kills faction opening modding as was the case in other DLC factions. So if someone makes a great Dacia mod for free if CA releases a DLC package with them the mod has to be scrapped. Bleh...

There will be 200 factions on the map and most of them dlc. I think the dlc of Napoleon were worth it...the ones for Shogun didn´t interest me.
I still will get it because of the high hopes I have for the game and I DO love the setting.

Shogun was bland crap, and if this is another DLC spamfest CA can eat my dick.

Actually, I'll download it off of TPB to see if it's shit.

Way low. They can easily fit 30 factions into a game starting in 300BC, and set another 30 to emerge under certain conditions.

Looking forward to Europa Barbarorum 2.

When they lock down the community as they did with Shogun there might be no Europa Barbarum 2 ....which would be bad.

The main game can be sucky if they at least let the community fix it.

That way their game was played even several years later by millions of people I hope they do realize this and let them fix their failures...Shogun was the weakest total war yet...yes.

??
I actually think Empire had that "distinction". I liked Shogun II a lot. Except for the Realm Divide, which was fine as a mechanic, but really should stop affecting you once you've secured the capital and actually are Shogun. That you continue to take the cumulative hit to diplomacy even after you're the frickin' ruler makes no sense.

Empire was so disappointing.

I have Shogun, bought at a cut price on Steam, but still haven't played it yet!

Rome Total War was my favorite, but I think Medieval II was the best.

Vanilla, yes. Try some mods! The best ones are twice as good as the game they're based on. There's a Warhammer Total War mod out as well.

By which you mean SEGA bought the video game rights for WHFB and are now making an actual Warhammer: Total War?
