I have seen nothing of the show and not read the books!

Unless it hits Netflix of Amazon Prime, I will never see it!

TBH I thought that the second picture was from the trailer which had the chick as a nameless assassin.  Does it bother anyone else that her left eye is not looking in the same direction as her right eye?

My Rome doesn't work anymore after they patched it. It's fucking great.

Update your mods, they won't work on the new version otherwise.

I am at that cruising speed point on my very hard Suebi campaign.  I have taken all of territories, I have the units, the sacks, all I need are another 30 towns.  10 full stacks moving about just flattening the next target and the next.  It is a forgone conclusion, but I want to say I finished the campaign just to say I did!

Well they seem to have found a fix how to resolve bad city defending...the guys just sally out and make a regular battle.

I had a battle last night vs an army the computer thought would beat me, they were defending a town.
They split their army into 3 chunks- one all spears. One non spear infantry and cavalry. And one skirmishers.

I ballista’d their nonspear and cavalry section, and then sent my infantry in their. Crushed their skirmishers with my horse, and sent me superior pikes to kill their spear infantry. It was hilarious. “here, let me divide my army so you can easily send the correct units vs each section”

Finally beat FTL!!!

Man, what a great game.

What should I play next?

Oh, and does anyone know about building systems? I've done one, but it's definitely time for me to build again. I need to build something that can run Rome II, but won't break the bank. Anyone willing to help?

Finally beat FTL!!!

Fun little indie game isn't it? Go back and try beating it on a harder difficulty with a different ship for added fun.

I'm at the same stage with my romans (Empire of course. If you start a civil war against me I'll be damned if I didn't become emperor).

15 full stacks just marching through the middle east. Europe and North Africa is mine, I make more money than I can spend and they're all happy and proud to be romans. Still those last 30 towns takes some time to conquer, and it isn't that much fun but it has to be done. Feels more like doing chores than gaming though.

Having fun with my Macedon campaign - pikemen are awesome. Civil war just broke out, and I am a little worried - I have managed to get 6 stacks back to Greece, but there's like 15 rebel stacks with ridiculously good troops, and also some 5 navies with high end ships as well. They do have a food problem, but that won't solve the problem fast enough. Cracking my knuckles and preparing for some epic battles.

Managed to get mine working.

Want to see something funny? Play a custom battle, 4 units of Seleucid Silver Shield pikemen against Odrysian spearmen. Doesn't matter how many they have. Nothing else.

Watch how insanely fast the warriors die. They die dozens in the second on impact. One unit killed 400 without a casualty when they hit the front with steady activated.

I did the same thing with Macedonian thorax pikemen. and that battle took place on a bridge.  I find that if you auto rsolve against the Odrysians you will loose, but if you actually play the battle you will hardly loose any men.

Civil war is over. Phew! Got 3 very nice battles out of it, the rest was mop-up.

And I guess every grown man and woman of Macedon who isn't in the army must be in the poison manufacturing industry. I had 3 spies constantly poisoning supplies of the rebels - they killed thousands.
