My first ever game I spawned near Balota, staggered in shirtless and colourblind after my zombie fights, and promptly got sniped.

I completely blew it.  I saw a guy running with a shirt and an axe and called out to him.  Then another guy came around a corner with fatigues on.  I had my M4 right on him.  I should have just shot.  If you are wearing military fatigues, you have been to a place with military weapons!

From this point on, if it is green and looking at me, it is dead.  I don't want to be a KOS type, but I spent two hours regearing today.  All for trying to be nice!  And I got my partner killed when he came out to get revenge.  We were both totally kitted too!

I am on a server with like 2 people right now.  Balota is PRIME for bandits.  It isn't a good place to hang out for long.  I only saw one guy and I just hid in a bush until he went to the jail.  I raided the barracks and then bugged out!

Lame!

I'm probably not going to be on much this week. Watching the National Championship game tonight, and company is visiting Thursday through Sunday. I'm still logged out near that military base we last visited together, so I can easily catch up with you when I get more time.

Sorry about your face!

Dominions 4 Multiplayer is amazing...it is a bit messy playing by email sending lots of data and receiving it back from everyone ...but the fun is immense.

One thing my friends have learnt on DayZ is shoot first unless it's one of us.

Then you shoot first.

watching a really indepth (2 and a half hour) critique of Rome 2 and they brought up Crusader Kings 2.  I did not know it was made by paradox!  As stated before I've been playing Victoria 2.  Is this basically the same game in Medieval times?  Is it worth US$40 or should I wait for a price cut?

Well yes and no. Victoria and EU are more akin really as your management is country in Crusader Kings while this is a big element there it is much more focused on Dynastic issues, you lose not when your country is destroyed but if your family is left with no holdings. So you can start off the King get deposed and then be left running your familial estates. Further you care more about keeping your vassals loyal and finding good places to get rid of any shithead children or uncles. As for the price are you talking the base or with the important Byzantine, Islam, Pagan, and Merchant Republic stuff included? It goes on sale rather regularly so generally I would wait and pick the base and those up as well (Aztec thing is goffy and I've not played with the new more in depth Church DLC yet but will most likely pick the latter up next sale). It is a really fun game and that you can convert over to EUIV (though with another DLC package) even better. Further Crusader Kings is also the basis for the best Game of Thrones game out there with this mod being able to play as westros families, free cities, basically anybody you want over many thousands of years.

Also which Rome 2 critique? Reynold Sanity's by chance?

Yes I thin so.  Sane Critique is what the video says.  I'll have to find the video again to tell you for sure.

The question is you watch the Sane Review of Rome 2 and then trust CA with this game?

The Guardian reviewer liked it very much.

No, don't worry, she's not a regular Guardian writer. So it might actually be good.

different companies though.  Gearbox did Colonial Marine and Crystal Arts is doing Alien: Isolation.  Don't blame the license for the developer's lies.   :eusa_wall: (dammit gearbox!)

Philly, last night after you logged out. Art and his friend got killed. They didn't respawn, but who knows where they are. I was heading East to meet you, but changed my mind and raided Zelenegorsk for some military hardware. Might start making my way North to the airfield.

They did die there. They killed a guy and were had just said that they were tired and going to call it a night. They exited a building and both got gunned down by a couple of guys. It was tragic to hear over the mic.

I'm going to be working my way north through the military bases. Looking for optics for my M4.
