Are you playing tomorrow at all? I haven't finished Nightfall yet and will run it with you if you want. I have a level 20 sniper of all three varieties. The void and arc are only blue, but I have a purple Final Boss and Ice Breaker for fire.

The Last Word makes you feel like a total cowboy! Fanning it is a blast and it does a ton of damage. I had link 36 strange coins so I bought Suros Regime last night, though I swapped back to the Last Word immediately because it is too damn fun! In PVP is is a hammer! I just went 3.6 KD with 23 kills on Control (I am working for a high KD to get the second or third step in the Exotic Shotgun bounty). It is almost not fair within 30 yards since you only need three hits to kill them and you can fire it so fast since it is full auto.

The Queen sniper is boss, it was doing a mere 10 less damage on body shots than Icebreaker.

Suros is great, I'm absolute garbage at pvp but still get some kills with it but TLW is just flat out better. For pve I think Suros is probably better, even after the nerf. I want to do the raid and get Visions of Confluence though, solar damage scout rifle Legendary. So nice. I've never gone higher than 2.0 in K/D, and it's usually just 0.9 - 1.1.

If you average 1 thats great. That is all people should be looking to do. I think I average in the 1.5 - 1.8 range, which is actually pretty much what I average of all the CODs.

I feel I am pretty much finished with Destiny until some new content arrives. I am level 29 and would need three pieces of raid gear to hit 30. Since I dislike the raid, I won't be doing that. I maxed out Last Word and really am not interested in working on other exotics just for fun. Other than trophies, there is nothing for me to do.

Meanwhile we have GTA V on PS4 coming (I popped in GTAV for PS3 yesterday and was loving it again) as well as COD next week. I have enjoyed Destiny and it gave me great fun, but there isn't anything more it has to offer, which makes me wonder about the whole 10 year plan...

I'll be honest, if this is an MMO the "new content" will be a couple of story missions, and then more raiding. That's all it ever is. Progression is either levelling the base character, or gear progression through raids. If you don't like the pvp, there will be literally nothing for you.

COD is about as appealing as an AIDS infected whore, and GTA V was great, but 'been there, done that'. I'll try to get into the raid, if I like it I'll buy the DLC, if not I'm in the same boat as you Phil.

Sig: I purposefully didn't play GTAV to death. Finished the main story and shelved it in anticipation of the PS4 version. I am jacked for it!

As far as COD, this one looks sort of shit, but I play with a set of buddies and we all drink and chat and have a blast.

It is a lot of fun if you are good to really good at competitive MP. I generally run in the 20 - 24 and 10 - 15 KD, so around 1.7 - 2 KD ration, which makes it quite a good time.

But if you aren't a big fan of COD, this one looks to be shit, so I don't blame you one bit!

It's okay. My issue with it was that it used some lazy mechanics to artificially up the difficulty rather than provide neat content. I like the maze and Georgina, but the final fight wasn't that great. For being the only real end game content, it didn't match up in terms of quality...

Wow. I loved tie fighter!

It needs a joystick though. Even if I can find my old one, I doubt my computer has the right sort of port! Do they make USB joysticks these days?
