Fin, don't buy it if you dont want it, but the graphic changes mean something to those looking for the ultimate version.

I'll buy it if it's a graphical upgrade on something like a PS2 game because I'm too lazy to figure out PS2 emulation on computer.

Ps2 upgrade, fine. But realistically Graphics have next to no impact on the quality of a game (see, Tie fighter) and the obsession with it is harmful to the industry, and harmful to gamers. People legimitately buying GTA5 mainly for a graphics upgrade are insane and should stop wasting their money, and developers time.

The difference between the release of Xwing and the eventual Xwing versus Tie Fighter was night and day.  Even the shift from the first release of Tie Fighter and the CD ROM release a year later was huge.

There is a significant difference in immersion and most people appreciate that.

The PS4 version of GTA V is a huge shift from the PS3 and if people want to pop for it, so what?  If you don't like it, fine.  Graphics are currently the only difference between the 360 and Xbox 1 but you bought that.

I would probably buy it if I was crazy about GTA V and played it all the time.

I however did not love GTA V. I found the cast of characters to be depressing, the game makes me do a lot of boring tasks before I get to do the fun missions, the multiplayer is actually more like a Carmageddon destruction derby because someone always starts a fight and other sandbox games have better gameplay.

Yeah, there isn't enough to warrant a buy if you didn't love the first and/or played it to death.  The graphics on the last edition were awesome anyway.

I'll get it because I adored the game.  I found the characters pretty enjoyable personally.  I avoided playing it to death.

I was wondering what do you guys think about Advanced Warfare. So far it recieves positive reviews from both critics and players and I was thinking about getting it for Christmas. My low RAM is the only thing stopping me ATM (4 GB).

The Single Player is typical COD garbage.  What was sort of different and interesting in MW1 and MW2 has become tired, stupid, and boring.

Multiplayer is really fun.  Better than Ghosts.

Ghosts single player was really good IMO, mainly because of the different enemy and theme (guerilla warfare, USA is ruined). Multi was cool and I'm looking forward to the exo suits mechanic. What troubles me is the downplay of hand to hand combat which I love in CoD. Ghosts were especially good in this.

Not sure what you mean by HtH.  You mean knifing?  Knifing is much harder in AW.  Black Ops and BO II are the easiest by far for knifing.

The Exo suits are largely little more than the double jumps and the side boosts.  The suit powers are normally dropped to make room for other abilities.  I do see cloak get some use though.

I've found Ghosts to be most Knife friendly. Hell I even use a knife-only class and it works wonders. Then again I'm a knife nut ion IRL so...

Well the gameplay so far got me hooked line and sinkered AND I really dig the future theme. In BO 2 it irked me, maybe because I've fallen in love with the Cold War Era theme of its predecessor, but AW is really nicely looking. Also Kevin Spacey.

PhillyT I know, but that's the point. After MW 2 and it's motion sensors and firing nukes over DC without any repercussions or deadly fallout, I knew that CoD has officially went bollocks with its storyline. I didn't mind the BO's mind wipe plot, I didn't mind the "teleporting Russian divisions" in MW 3 and I don't mind Rorke who is so riddiculously over the top that he's awesome in that guilty pleasure sort of way.

I did, but then again I did not use it in game (no Commando perk for me). Then again I'm not playing CoD competetively, but for fun. For example my loadout in Ghosts always has a sidearm (which no one uses) and I tend to use the same, certain perks in all of my classes. Then again I want to have fun from playing, not be teh best evah. Altough I usually end up in top 3 in any given game.

I am the guy who ran multiple load outs for all eventualities and had diamond lmg while being prestige master!

I play for fun, but am competitive within game.  No ranked matches or anything.
