I think there's too much detail to the point where the eye can't settle on the overall miniature.

I like the pose and the paint job is as good as usual  :::cheers:::

Looks good to me dude. I'm fine with a lot of detail but that mini dose take it over the top dosen't it?
I choose too keep "Old Warhammer" alive with my blood sweat and tears.

It's bad that warhammer might die but it would be a tragedy if it stays dead!

Too much detail is an eyesore when watching and when painting.. It's hard to pick apart which detail is which and the whole is forgotten. In older minis the design of the miniature is more important, and the details are there to support it.. and I think I like the old ones more :)

Also, being a wargame, I'd say we don't need to see if the elector counts tailor forgot a needle to the counts new pants... So yes, too much detail!

Totally paint it green.

Green dragon! Totally Tolkien - he was absolutely obsessed with them, wanted to know why you could say "a great green dragon" but not "a green great dragon".

It's a Carmine Dragon, so a Carmine would be the colour I would go for.  Which is Burgundy, but I would also make it a little bit ore Purple than that, because of the influence of Amethyst magic that keeps it 'alive'

It's a car-mine dragon, you are supposed to paint it the color of your car. And your car should be green, because otherwise you hate the environment and are a terrible person and worse than Hitler, so paint it green.

Also, Burgundy is a region of France - famed for growing things. So it is clearly green, mostly.

This is too fantastic to go unquoted. I have nothing to say, but it must be quoted.

Also, as everyone keeps saying, if you want it to be Elsbeth's fluffy dragon, it should be carmine. If you don't care, paint it whatever colour you fancy. Except for pink, of course, which would be against the rules.

Ooh, they look pretty nice.  I'd love to get hold of them as well.  But unlike you I'm not going to go out of my way to get them.  All of I've really got on my list are the Steam Tank variants, and the multi-part sisters of sigmar, which come of so rarely on ebay, and go for mental money

Proper Witch Hunters, so much better than the new finecast noble they made and called a 'witch hunter'.

They have a very similar look to Wilhelm, wonder if he was part of the warband and was the only one to make it through.
