Great report! Looks like the tau mopped up the benighted nurgelers. I have never had any luck against the forces of nurgle and I had thought they were almost unkillable. Nice work!

I haven't really been tracking my wins/losses, but I know I'm still more on the winning side then loosing side :)
Atleast with the Codex it's 1-0 now.. hope to get in way more games soon (Eurobash also)

Great report and nice win there!

Looks my qt your friend’s list I’m not sure what he was looking to do.  He had a super slow army which is based around melee and short range fire.  Not a receipe for success!

I love playing against Nurgle lists but I’ve noticed that that is an issue.  Close to mid range fire can be brutal, but they are so slow without taking transports.

They have some options to get accross the board quickly but he was a starting player so didn't have all the good stuff yet. And even my list was a scrap heap of most I had.

That is a pretty sweet board. I like the data cards all arranged on one side as well.

Good game though Stealth!  Makes sense that that was what was on the table!  I like Deathguard but they do struggle a little to find a strong build.

Me too. The only thing that's been out of place is that skull tower. Other than that - perfection.

Nah way to little LoS blocking terrain, it's a positive for all my fireing arcs but not really fun for my opponent. Usually we have more buildings 40k style on these boards at the club, but this time they were already taken by other members/players.

When I hear people complain about gunlines, I ask how many truly LOS blocking terrain pieces they place at the mid board area.  Its an essential component to the game and all too often people leave them out.  I generally push for two or three truly massive LOS terrain pieces.  Makes it much more challenging to just shoot your opponent off the table turn one.

I agree with it and I find it much more fun to have a challenge with enough LOS blocking terrain.

Any way, here are my Battlereports from the Eurobash:

Great battle reports SKS! To get 2 games in as well as the rest is excellent.

Versus Cisse's Astra Militarum
https://wargamingbysks.wordpress.com/2018/06/01/tau-versus-astra-militarum-eurobash-battlereport/

Here's some corrections to my list should you need it:
all organised in company and vanguard detachments
HQ
- Company Commander
- 1 Leman Russ tank commander with plasma executioner, plasma sponsons
- 1 Leman Russ tank commander with punisher gatling, heavy bolters
HEAVY
- 1 Leman Russ with battle cannon, heavy bolters
- Basilisk
- Basilisk
TROOPS
- 6 teams of Cadian Shocktroops (3 teams with lascannons, 3 teams with flamers)
FAST
- armoured sentinel with plasma
- armoured sentinel with lascannons
- hellhound
ELITE
- 5 Tempestus Scions with 2 melta guns (or plasma, can't remember)
- 5 Ratlings
- 5 Ratlings
- 1 squad of veterans with 3 plasma guns in a chimera with heavy flamer
- platoon commander with power sword
- platoon commander with plasma pistol
- psyker

Great game indeed! Scary firepower from your list and those drones are pest to get through to kill the real "meat" of your list. Once they were mostly gone, my own firepower had it a lot easier to do damage.

Funniest moment, me taking out your devilfish which exploded and killed a company commander, my veterans, and put wounds on my tanks.
Units of the match for me, my tanks - from the standard Leman Russ on my right which did sterling work the entire game to the Executioner Commander (which lived up to its name), and finally the Basilisks - excellent firepower which can strike everywhere you need it.

Thanks Cisse, I'll update the list to have it represent it correctly (if it was only for my own OCD twitch)  :biggriin:

The game was indeed awesome, and that devilfish was indeed one of the best moments!

So finally after the hollday recess back into swing of the hobby thing!
I tell you... you get almost nothing done when kids don't have their earlier bed times and there are so much other distractions to be doing outside with the very nice weather we had.

But Crisis Suits are battleready!

and work in progress (1 maybe 2 more evenings)
the Cyclic Ion Blasters

https://wargamingbysks.wordpress.com/2018/09/17/regular-update-mid-september/

Next up the Ghostkeel or the 2nd set of Stealth Suits. What do you think I should go for first?
