Update:

So it's been 2 months since my last update, once again super busy with life, however I've been getting a fair chunk of painting done, something I've been doing lately is Share Playing FIFA with my mate, I'll paint while he plays and I can chat and watch (Needless to say I'm awful at FIFA) it seems to be working as in the space of a week I got a fair bit done including...... 10 Warriors minus Shields and Crossbow arms, Thunderer Command, Chaos Spawn and The White Dwarf!

There's still lots to do for many of my armies, I've been doing some Skeletons, Shadow Warriors, Orc Boyz, Chaos Sorcerer and another Spawn all on my painting desk. Here's what's finished, however my photo skills are still awful.

Dwarf Thunderers Command (6th Edition):

The White Dwarf:

Chaos Spawn:

Finally here's a picture of my painting station, there's a lot of stuff going on currently, plenty of assembly, the 10 Warriors I left off as I need to add the Crossbow Arms and Shields before they are complete, there's also those 20 Warriors with Hand Weapons and Shields which I've been meaning to do since I started this blog, finally getting around to doing them. I'm also cleaning the Organ Gun and Grudge Thrower, the crew are already sprayed and ready to go along with 2 Dragon Slayers.

Here's whats left to do with the Dwarfs, I might also add a counter for my other stuff I'm doing but it's so long that the post would go on forever!

Enjoy!

I like them! Especially the finish/texture of the chaos spawn. Is it mostly drybrushed?

You should take a photo where the Thunderer Champion faces the Chaos Spawn.

Also somebody should write a rules version where Champions in shooting units get an extra attack. He has two pistols, can't you see!

Also like your assembly line. Much neater than mine. I've got something like five different projects on my table, for maybe three different games. And process is creeping.

@Zygmund,

Yeah the Spawns skin was, fairly easy to do with the way the body is, lots of raised areas for contrast.

My scheme for the Skin:

Mournfang Brown > Zandri Dust > Karak Stone >Ushabti Bone

TBH thats the cleanest my painting area has been for some time, I getdstracted by different armies constantly, I was painting Imperial Guard on it the week before next to the Dwarfs, I have too much hobby and not enough time.

I guess this is true for most of us.  :::cheers:::
