Wow, no way I'm ever using photo bucket again.  Sorry to see the loss of so many pictures of your efforts on this thread. :icon_sad:

They recommended to me that I log out of the website, clear all the cookies and cache from Chrome, and then log back in. It's not entirely fixed but I can access all my pictures and my links still work ( I can't save anything I've edited though ).

PB support are getting back to me but it takes days because they are getting so many queries I think.

Hello,

Our team has nearly resolved all site issues caused by the outage, so the majority of our users are now able to access their account and their images. Unfortunately, we still have some users who are still experiencing issues with their accounts. Our team has been working non-stop to resolve all of the remaining site issues.

You can always check if your account is no longer affected by clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If you need help on how to do this, please check out the following article: https://support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us/articles/200724544-Clear-Your-Browser-s-Cache-and-Cookies

If clearing your browser's cache and cookies did not help resolve the issue you are experiencing, chances are your account is still affected. Please email us back and let us know if you're still having issues with your account.

We share your frustration during this outage. Unfortunately at this time, we don't have a firm ETA when these issues will be fixed but we are hoping that this will be resolved as soon as possible. Again, our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing you."

Not sure if this will help. I use Wordpress and access to the pictures became extremely slow, then older pics wouldn’t expand out of thumbnail, then the whole catalogue vanished. Then I logged out, which I hadn’t ever done (couple years?) and logged back in and everything came back. Kind of stupid of me but there you go. I was ready to delete the whole site out of frustration but I’m glad I didn’t.

At least now the site says my account is one of the last affected by a power outage , and will be back up soon!
Phew.

On another note, I went into a GW Store, to buy some of the new contrast paints.

The girl managing asked me what i'm working on, I said metal models, old school...

She was young , and laughed , then started telling me why plastic was infinitely better as a medium , for detail and ease of painting , etc etc...

I waited as she kept talking then i gave her my sixpence,

lol

- i said something like - yep all true, but metal feels valuable and worthy when you pick up a model, and the fact that it's harder to convert makes it more exciting when you manage to do so, plus it's nice using gloss and matt varnishes, and i simply don't like these new Sig Marine plastic throwaway kids toys GW are running with, bye

Why is this consistently the GW experience for the past 2 decades at least? You might get the odd normal person but they never last long because they dont drink the cool-ade the rest of them are...

PB still down guys!!

Ok i'll give you a sneak preview description,

I started painting the best Empire metal model of all time, it's the puff and slash , Landschnecht style guy.. then realised how it would be awesome to convert a load of similar style models , various metal sculpts , to all have halberds,

i'm 8 models into a unique metal only, heavy puff and slash elite guard unit , using a new colour scheme , it rocks , i need to post

6th ed greatswordsmen as Halberdiers? Interesting.

Surely you mean ‘war wagon crew’ rather than conversions...

Yep - the 3rd from left reminded me of the old Pegasus Knight with the long lance - the head has been altered though - the helmet I think?

I have to agree that the best Empire model would be the Averland with halberd from Mordheim. That set of models is something I wish I had bought more than just the basic set. Heck if I could afford them I'd buy enough of the Halberds for two units! On your issue with GW stores, I've tried to avoid them recently as I don't care for any of their current games with the exception of 30k. I play older editions and it always angers the newer employees that they really don't have anything other than paint that I want. I've met some great paint sellers though.
I may disagree with what you say but I respect your right to be punished for it.
