I just couldn’t wait so I started. A ways to go yet but it’s moving. I loved Fidelis’s idea of the chimney being Gahl Maraz but I just can’t find a hammer. Check all my space wolves bits for a thunder hammer but no go. I can always adjust it later. Found a big book from my DA stuff

Hoooly shitballs, that's one, amazing s-tank. Very fitting, when it comes to Empire's theological theme. :::cheers:::

Thanks GP and Xath! I am super stoked about this as well. I had to do a double take when I saw the date on this mag. I knew it was along time ago but this inspiration came from 2005. 13 years later it’s almost a reality. Yipes.

The old worlds never dead! It still lives on in myths and legends.  :icon_biggrin:

I'm actually really liking in AoS right now how their building up how important the world that was, was. There's lots more connections forming and people coming back.

yes indeed great job! Nice feel it emanates from the steam tank, it really belongs with the cult of flaggelants  :::cheers:::

Next has become the upgraded war altar. I really didn’t know what to do with it so it just kind of evolved with various bits and crap. I actually like it but I’ve been know to like odd things.
Before:

After:

Another 10 flagellants. Just another 10 to go. (With some backup)

These look excellent. Where's the Griffon from? I dig that you've incorporated Mordheim minis. :::cheers:::

Built the last of the flagellants. I must say they drive me crazy or it’s just getting harder to manage the fiddley bits.
Also found a 5th troll hiding under bunch of knights. And the dear little gryphhound. Not sure which of the excelsiors it will hang with yet. I will definitely get the box of them though.

The last ten nutters are done. 60 in all. These just need to dry and I’ll base em tomorrow. Not that that will be hard as I’ve picked the easiest, dullest basing technique possible. You might get the idea I don’t like basing. Your right even if it’s one of the best ways to finish your model.  I have visions of spicing them up one day but likely won’t happen.  Just waiting for my last slotted based to arrive to rebase my other 20 old flagellants but that gd package has seemed to have disappeared as well. I had a hell of a time getting my old Norse bloodbowl team to Stockholm. Went via Switzerland and then became untraceable when it finally arrived in Sweden. Was able to track it the  Nord post and eventually got the recepient to go pick it up. Same with the witch hunter to Warlord. Arrived in Sydney Mach 6 and went off the radar. Can’t trace it with the local post and this Set of bases was supposed to show up last week. Time to go postal. Anyway I may just set up the Disciples of Sigmar anyways for a group shot. 2470 pts of models.

Recieved a missed package notification yesterday. Will need to go there next week, but sounds promising.

The last 10. Still need my bases to come in to finish the group of 30 flagellants and the canon crews. This is my almost complete Deciples of Sigmar army. 2470 pts including pligrimage of wrath. Not valid for a matched game because of an overload of allies (guns and s-tank) but fluffwise perfect. May have taken 13 years to get there but what the heck. It’s the way this hobby rolls. Hope you like.

Maybe the next AoS project or it might be an ork army. 2490 pts job lot  of empire. No crazies 😺
