Well I finally got round to doing some more modular boards back at the beginning of July.

Just something similar to compliment the green land ones earlier in the thread.

6 Boards made with a frame, filled with foam and then plastered over with polyfilla.

You may remember a gap in a wall on my dock sections .......................

Well I found some Hirst art bricks ..........

But first we need to get some sort of town-like cobbled surface so out came some old wallpaper.

Then with a quick undercoat of light grey primer, they were ready for a try out.

Looking good! I've always wanted to know where to get good cobblestone wallpaper, it always looks so nice in everyone else's projects.

It's very old fashioned. I think the roll I used had been in my attic from the 80s and I discovered it and commandeered it for hobby stuff whilst working on some boards for Mordheim originally about 10 years ago.

There are updates, and some reports in the Frostgrave thread, but real life has got in the way.

My camera software doesn't work with Windows 10  :icon_evil:
My focus has been on modelling up some Frostgrave figures. :biggriin:

The village now looks quite pro, nice.

You already did try that. I gave my squad the order to shoot you that was by far more effective than shooting you by my self .....

I have had problems with my camera not being compatible with Windows 10 so I couldn't download pics.
Being technically deficient I had to get instructions on buying a card reader and then spend several months looking at it in the packet before the upcoming Eurobash has inspired me to open it.

So I did some downloading and uploading last night - 170 pics off the camera, and 120 off my phone.

Under this thread I have some pics from the Paint Station area of some of the bits and bobs I have got as far as undercoating in the last several months.

I had got a load of scenery related bits for the Harbour setting on my skirmish board - working on some carts, and then lots of dockside 'goods'.

Middle left - undercoated black - were Greatswords:  old Reiksgard, and various earlier GW metal knights, along with the 6th Edition slimmer versions, which I had in various states of build, and finally got sorted and undercoated.

The rest of the figures are Pirates and I think a few cowboys.

Close up of the barrels etc.

My baggage horses and camels that need painting, and some other animals. The Mordheim Stagecoach is there as well, and I have actually put more paint on that since this pic.

This next one is a bit later - the greatswords have gone to the dark cupboard and I have undercoated some very cheap metal Chinese figures I acquired ready for a Pirate warband for this year's bash.
They are pretty poor sculpts, and some of my conversions - adding Militia pistol arms and the machete swords are a bad scale match, but hey they were cheap .........................
................ and I have been painting them as attendees at the Bash will see .....................

One of the carts is a conversion of Mydas the Mean's treasure cart - the other 3 built up ones are historical I think and I got them off ebay.

As to the goods, some are GW barrels & chests, some are Hirst Art Moulds, but most are resin ones from Ainsty

They do a lot of interesting stuff.
