Why would Joe average guardsman be scared of that? Las gun and bayonet should solve that issue.
Beautifully horrific!

Thanks guys! I really enjoyed painting the Swarmlord, although getting him glued and converted before painting was a huge pain in the arse... :eusa_wall:

Just a quick update - finally started working on my Outrider unit, do not have too much time though, so just a horse so far...
Any suggestions about how to make him look more realistic? Thanks

I apologize for the grim pictures, as always...

Looks great! I don't see anything to add. I can't wait to see the rest.

Wow, awesome painting! Could you do a rundown on how you painted the horse?

Thanks guys! But don't hesitate, show some criticism.

@Griffonclaw - This might be a bit of a problem - I tend to mix colours very wildly, but I'll try...

fur - starting with circa 50:50 mix of Black and Rhinox hide, then starting to replace black with Balor Brown, not reaching it completely but adding a bit of Ushabti bone at the end

"socks" on the legs - begining same as for fur, instead of Balor Brown starting to add Ushabti Bone later, at the and a bit of White

tail and mane - start is again same as for fur, than starting to add 50:50 mix of Balor Brown and Blazing orange to Rhinox Hide, finishing with a more and more white

Hope it helps  :icon_lol:

Thanks guys, you are too kind as always. Here is he finally finished with the rider (need to ad some grass and stuff to the base later...)

To be honest I'm not too much satisfied with rider figure. I don't like the current pistoliers/outriders heads too much, so I've tried something different, but I'm not sure, if it works as a whole...

I think he works just fine. Really nice textures and he comes to war prepared - two bottles of wine 😸

Thanks @Artobans Ghost!

I actually got some critique yesterday, saying that he is too "comic book" looking. I'm sincerely not sure what to do about that, it is probably just my style...
He is gonna be a part of Space Wolves army (a bit alternate colour scheme) I'm painting for one gentleman. More models should come, all from primaris range (intercessors, interceptors, hellblasters, repulsor tanks, HQs)...

In the meantime, here is just a quick job on vampire lord for Mordheim...

Your work is very good. This vampire lord is excellent. Vicious, tall, bewinged. Looks like he has a story to tell but would crush the marrow out of your bones long before he spoke it aloud.

Thanks again guys!

That vampire model is just last model from Undead mordheim range (few dozens of minis) I have painted for my friend. Nothing special, actually not that many details to paint, but thanks for the appreciation!

Since September, I have started working on only Primaris Marines Army as a Commission. Here is finally five of finished Intercessors, more will of course come...

Great colour scheme. Space Wolves usually look boring, but the black/red/yellow and blue combo works well.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

Thank you Patsy!

I actually have got a lot of criticism saying, they are too much "pastel-colour" looking. As I have said - I like them and my customer too...

Anyway - here is something different. A while ago I have decided to paint some of my old state troops (I have about 40 of them just sprayed catching dust in the attic). I am genuinely bored of painting everything in Averland scheme, so I went a bit wild, and decidet to make mixed regiment to paint every province possible...

Here are the results

Nothing fancy, just a really simple quick paintjob. Second quy took me actually just one hour to paint (thanks to some dirty pre-shading  :icon_biggrin:)
