One minor change to that list, if I may. The Estalian Rodriego did not escape, he was brutally cut down by the huntsmen under Alphonse as he fled the Dawnstrider cavalry charge. It's a minor detail, but we don't want anyone worrying about a lone butcher appearing from the shadows hell bent on revenge!

"Well, unless you have objections, the first thing we must do is secure the western side of the river, and drive off those last few defenders. The General will be returning by tomorrow or the day after, and if we have not secured the bridge crossing by then, he will likely demand we spring into action immediately. I know Erberk will not want to attack without your support, so the decision hinges upon you, sir." Frederick sighed, his hand resting on his pommel as he considered whether or not his next words were wise. "I know who the man is that slew your man, Diego. I have not recognized him amongst the dead, so he is likely hiding, as the general guessed, on the other side of that bridge. I offer my sincere apologies to you; it was my duty to see your man escorted safely to Schwarzbaum, and I failed that duty. I want you to know I will do whatever I can to make amends for this."
The men worked in shifts, sleeping a few hours at a stretch to make up for the night of combat. There were sentries sent to keep a watchful eye on Vidovdan, but it did not seem like the enemy had made much of an effort to fortify the town. Marshall Rheinhardt was on his way, apparently, and once he came to relieve them and begin the invasion proper, they would likely move north to capture Vidovdan and secure the hold on the river. It would only take him a day or two as well, if he moved fast (and he liked to move fast indeed), so it was possible that both Arathos and his men, and the other arm under Rheinhardt would arrive together, with the Estalian reinforcements, at once. If so, they would have a very impressive force to invade Domzale, and make the brutal Don (now King, in his lands) reconsider his stance.

"Sooner than you think; according to the notice the General intends to leave for this town before dawn, and it is already several long hours since. He will probably be here in time for dinner, Herr Vitec. Shall I inform the chef of any special requests?"
