Definitely better than the current ones; but I still prefer the 6ed WP.

First reaction, I don't hate it.

I prefer it over the current WP miniatures but it still doesn't come close to the best vision of a Warrior Priest which is the Warhammer Quest WP   :-)

The no shoes actually doesn't bother me on a warrior priest. Far more fluffy than on a state trooper and it doesn't take away from the look of the mini in my eyes.

Quite like it actually, even minus the shoes. Pity it'll take an arm and a leg to get one down under.

There will be a new warhammer quest release later this year I heard in the rumors.....

Also I find that most of the kit bashed warrior priest look pretty darn good and unique. And they are super easy to convert since it literally is just kit bashing.

Interesting side note a model that for all intensive purposes should have it's fair share of Sigmar's, little hammer charms, and twin tailed comets this fellow has none. Tasteful hourglass and raven skull but no real Sigmarite bits other than well having the general bald hammer wielding appearance of every other Warrior Priest.....

You could still paint him like he's wearing socks. You could even paint  every sock differently, like in the colors of the chosen state. sure you can't possibly hate men in socks. :engel:

I was really excited when they first announced that Forge World would produce empire minis. A few years later they haven't released even one empire mini that I really like and would want to get. Total dissapointment.

I'd have been all over a mounted WP. As it is the GW range isn't short of foot WPs - and nor am I :)

It's a nice sculpt though, including the bare feet (IMO of course). Hopefully we'll see some more Empire goodies from FW.

This isn't even a regular update, just an exclusive luxury item. One more reason for a disappointment.
