Reminds me of RPGs and Space Hulk.

Looks like those figures are coming out quite nicely! :eusa_clap: :::cheers:::

Which I just did! Here he is, along with the heroes who want to stop him.

Awesome group! The summoner is as he should be. Creepy and dangerous. The Fire later and priest are fantastic. The white on the priest couldn’t be better.

Thank you very much! They've been a lot of fun to paint.

I finished the Herald this morning:

And here is the army so far:

Sorry for the poor quality photo, but we finished out battle with the Gaunt Summoner the other day.

We went in with mostly full health and got a very lucky roll on the fate dice (no doubles). This allowed us to pretty much steam roll the summoner. Although the Knight Questor did his best to extend the combat by whiffing on 5 out of 6 attacks...

Looks like a lot of fun. That gaunt must be something if he took on everyone.

Indeed. I know he'll be back later when the tower has worn us down a bit!

Thank you very much!

We went on our second foray into the Tower. It was successful, but I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted.

Entering the Tower, facing some Kairic Acolytes

The Warpriest popping some Brimstone Horrors

Facing off with the "Mummy"

I've tried a friends copy and I really enjoyed it. It's on my Christmas list, and if not Christmas probably birthday. I find the models to have some great character, not to mention being a fun separate game I hope to harass some family into playing.

It's beautiful seeing your models get painted! It must make the adventure so much better with painted models.

A Sigmarine beating up the creepy child-mummy. Sure, couldn't find an opponent his size!

Looks very fun. I snuck the game onto my son's christmas list. no ulterior motifs of course  :biggriin:

Thanks, all! Eight of the Kairic acolytes are now finished as well. I had a minor setback when my pot of flesh tone dried out.

We visited the tower again this weekend, this time in search of the Shard of Ulgu. We brought the Cogsmith this time because I had just finished painting him. I forgot to take many pictures, but in the last room, the Cogsmith did BAD things to the Grot Scuttlings that were there. One round he killed ALL 8 of them...
