We are still working in our Elven Lords. Last days we have crafted 100 models to check our production molds.

Nowadays we are painting, and we are not sure with the color of the helmets hears.

Wich color do you think looks better?

Thanks guys for your oppinion!

This model is stunning, but... it oozes menace. For me he looks more like a Dark Elf noble, than a High Elf one.

Nothing wrong with menacing High Elves, I think it's the colours that make you think Dark Elf, though.

Recent events mean my miniatures budget is now zero, but I hope the Kickstarter will do well as I really like the miniatures  :eusa_clap:

I think its the mask that makes it menacing.
I dont really like the helmet ears.
The paintjob is superb though.

Definitely the mask. And yeah, the ears are a bit too much. Otherwise this model rocks.

Thank you guys for your comments!

We don't mind if our Elves look like the bad boys... we don't like "good" elves... to us elves are not good or bad, they are just elves.

Still painting!!!

Some people was afraid about how figures will fit in a regiment. This is an example

Those archers look excellent.

When are you relaunching the kickstarter?

Archers look really good. The prince is also very cool, but those helmet ears I am not a fan of.

Spearmen donīt seem to reach the level of the archers and prince, but maybe painted versions could fix that impression

I have to say that when it comes to high spearelves, I always preferred the look of them walking with spears held upright, rather than in "action" poses such as these. Makes them look clean, dignified and disciplined. But I suppose that too will be possible with these models.

The amount of armour on these spearelves, though, is a bit on the high side. If these would be used for T9A or any of the last three editions of Warhammer, they should wear light armour. I'd prefer if they came with just cuirasses, helmets and maybe vambraces, and wore robes everywhere else.

Anyways, good luck! A proper range of high elven infantry is sorely missing after GW decided to discontinue theirs, and this hits the mark way better than anything else I've seen out there.

Sorry guys I stay away from here for a long time.

Konrad, you are right thinking about you can use any pose that you like with our infantry. Multipart and multipose models, these has veen the harder work in the sculpinting step.

About the amour, I like you tell us your preferents. It is really nice know that people really think ;). Is very frustratin see how GW models with heavy amour, are not full covered and others models with light armour are, like old hunters of crace and high spearmen.

Illumini, for us, elven ears are a very important element into elven folk. That is the reason why we designed a helmet like that ;)

We expect can realung our kickstarter in two or three weeks guys.

Well guys, we have done a small board where can take pictures of our Elven lords models. I hope that you like.

Thanks guys!

Did you plan an unarmoured range as well?

Maybe it would make sense to have one box named "armoured elven infantry" and another named "unarmoured elven infantry" (or something of the sort). Let both boxes have spear arms, bow arms, and bows in sheaths (to make Seaguard), and just have the torsos and legs of the boxes be different.

A little bit of advice, if I may. Now that this kickstarter seems to be a resounding success, you should focus your development efforts on Highborn Elves, even to the exclusion of everything else.

Thing is, over and over again I've seen a company produce good models that I could consider using, only that they've only made one or a few releases of a particular kind. Meaning there's no way for me to use those models even if I wanted to, since I can't get models for the rest of the army that match stylistically.

You should have a long-term goal of making it possible for a buyer to get every single entry in the Highborn Elven armybook from you. The fact that a player can do so would boost sales of ALL your Highborn Elven miniatures. Thus, even if a single product may not sell particularly well (for example, great eagles), it would still be worth having it just to provide the customer with the entire service and indirectly make money on it by boosting the sales of everything else. It's the same logic that supermarkets follow - many of the items they stock make them little to no profit, but having a good selection of products attracts customers, allowing them to profit from their biggest-selling core products.

As your next thing, I would suggest an Elven Knights boxed set. Highborn Lancers are one thing that's currently neither covered by your selection or by GW's. You could make the sprue versatile enough that they could be built as Knights of Ryma instead, that'd probably just require some dragon-themed decorations and maybe a few different armour bitz.

Alternatively, a chariot box might be worthwhile. There you'd compete against GW's chariot box, but there might be an upcoming spike in demand for Reaver Chariots now that T9A 2.0 will allow them to be fielded in units of several chariots.
