I hate people who don't paint their armies, hate them with all my guts. Beats me how they value other things over painting, like eating or brushing teeth.
I'm trying to wrap my head around some justification for painting them up as a part of my own fantasy setting/campaign/whatevs. I like the garden raiders angle. I recently started stripping and re-priming & basing some old Ral Partha "Thumpers". (See pic below.) I'm repurposing them from my old Hordes of the Things army. ("Night of the Lepus" inspired -- sort of.) Totally different look to them, and I had thoughts on their justification & place in the setting already. Hopefully it won't be too strange having two* different types of rabbit creatures.(*At least two.)
Remembering those (which were based on the old Ral Partha Orcs / Half Orcs I think) I was half tempted to make the two ranges the basis of an Orcs and Goblins army. Then I remembered that a - I already have 200+ presoltta Orcs and Goblins hidden away and b - you will do it much better! /
We all know this line of thought ultimately ends with an Oldhammer / Infinite Rabbits crossover toy or three, don't we?
