Looking good. keep on posting as you go, Ostermark is sovery seldom seen that I would like to see more, are you going to do any Ostermark specific units? and forgive my ignorance but what is Ostermark noted for? Looking forward to a reply.  Steveb

I'm doing a multi-provincional army so I don't know if there will be any place for more Ostermarkers. Still I'm thinking about an Ostermark count.

Cheers,
Chris

Me too, units from everywhere, colorful pageantry is not just reserved for those pretentious Brets. None the less an Ostermark army would be very unique, in my experience it is seldom seen.  Keep posting.  teveb

Sorry no WIP pics , but it was quite simple. I took a soda can, cut it, bend it , put GS in few stages and than prime it. Freehands are also easy. First paint the main coat than do with base colour for the shape of the panther . Later add eyes, nose and spots. Finally use black paint to make contours. As for the commet start with fairy orange, than add yellow, bleached bone, white.

Wow, very impressive army thus far. I'm disappointed that it appears I have over looked this thread a couple times. For saying that you are a beginner with the free hand Banner designs, you did really well. I shall wait for the next unit you post.

Nice army :-) Swordsmen's purple is great, I tried to achieve something similar in my army (from Ostermark), you've done it better :biggriin:

Little update. Grandmaster and KP details.

This panther/cheetah/jaguar cape was one of the hardest thing to do. I tried to make it look as much realistic as I could.

Hey dude! I love those ogres obalix, asterix and their little doggie getafix, great conversion work,  Have you ever seen the real lead asterix miniatures including all the character and Romans? There were two different versions put out, but you did a wonderful conversion.  I also loved Herr Hinkledorf with his picklehaub and monocol, makes me want to click my heels and say Jawhol mein Herr.  Was the helmet a 54mm bit? or was it scratched? good job, steveb

The "Hinkledorf" picklehaub was made from greenstuff and a spear top.

Update. First diorama. Gotrex and Felix after a battle with a troll.

Felix is made from a militia man and GS. Gotrex is a deamon slayer with a converted axe.
