I am sorry blazing-sun but there is no recipe :icon_sad: :icon_sad:.
The knight´s armor was first painted by Shining Gold but than I realized to paint it by pure Chaos Black with gold lining.
So it probably looks like some mix but it isn´t. Maybe try to mix Chaos Black with Chainmail or just drybrush it with Chainmail....

Here are mine, if they are the ones to which you refer:

Thanks .

Twas rather embarrasing putting them up after yours though. Such beautiful painting, yet alone the posing...

The greatest form of control which can go on forever until it is exposed is a tyranny you can't see, touch and taste (unlike totalitarian Govts). When you sit in a prison cell but can't see the bars, because people don't rebel against not being free when they think they're are.

@ Silberius

Those knights look really good. I love the poses - really motional!

Im thinking of making a unit almost like those, just with a wall..

thanks for inspiring!

@ lion of flanders

great use of the ludwig horse..

is ludwig a piece for himself, or is he attached to the horse?- maybe that horse would be cool for a AL conversion :)

Neffy

His legs are part of the horse, as is the other guy.  Fairly EZ to attach an armored torso to full plate armored legs.

I can't wait to get my mitts on the new M. Leitdorf figure.  The horse is particularly brilliant.

The banner reads Moriendi haeretici

Due to the awesome power of magnets, they are either 2 × nillas (with optional preceptor) or 1 time FC. They are from the Ostermark.

Lion of Flanders, your work remains awesome. No matter how many times I see them, they still take my breath away.

Sibby, yours are nice too. I must admit I preferred them with the other shields, although you pulled off the striping very nicely.

Lion of Flanders, you still have one of the more awesome Empire armies anywhere.

Do only painted knights go here?

Yeh, it was a tough one. In the end I just wasn't sure that they looked like shields. At least like Empire shields. Maybe I'll use the concept again some time for something else.

Don't remember seeing your knights before. I am loving the purple.  8-)
