8th Forever Then !
« on: July 05, 2015, 10:35:15 PM »
I rarely get time to play Warhammer, maybe 6 times a year. So I am quite happy to keep playing 8th until I die!

They have forced our hand !

DO NOT BUY THIS AOS rubbish unless you get it 2nd hand on e bay ...

This is our chance to glorify 8th ,

this forum can become even better , we will hold aloft the flame of 8th , add new rules and keep painting the OOP treats !

Never fear
Ask yourself , what is real? 5 sense filtered reality is a very limited perspective.

What happens if we like AoS? Are we allowed to buy it then?

Knock yourself out, buy all you want.

My group only 1 guy is maybe buying the starter, and that's a maybe. I thought about it because I've been a huge supporter of WHFB, but probably not--if inclined I can trot out my 8th edition stuff. Hell, this might actually break my GW crack addiction. Unlike a lot of people on this forum, I only buy GW figures when I play a GW game. I have so much WHFB it's sick (not chumley sick, maybe). Feels weird though. I always looked forward to new releases and buying all the new stuff---and now this...

8th is still blazing bright in our hearts, never fear of that. Many are working to preserve it for ages to come if GW can't afford too.

Don't worry, Mr.Chumley,  the old world won't die that easily. :icon_wink:

Honestly, I think it might. Simply because it was the last version of warhammer. We still play a lot of the discontinued games (and like most of them better than warhammer, which does reduce it's odds a bit).

Darknight, thank you for that awesome meme. I took it and made it my profile pic on the EEFL forum.
