So I'm working on getting the old boys painted, and I am looking for a little inspiration. Please post your favorite unit of pistol-wielding madmen.

my favorite pistolier unit is the "Greys" this piece was designed for the front rank to be jumping a fence with the resulting mayhem that could occur, as in getting spilled from the saddle. I think it was one of my better conversions. steveb

Like the dynamic feel of them jumping the fence -- like how the one in front is about to biff it and go tits over arse.

I think that's one my my favorite steveb creations. It's not as high-fantasy as some of the others (like the flyers, some of the Lustria stuff, etc. but it's a really great use of a basic kit in a creative and dynamic way.

My Pistolierios, mostly old DoW figures that came in a bargain bucket with no arms, so I scratch-built pistols for them. Oh, and back then I had forgotten they could not have a standard. So he doesn't count.
