Upon moving your troops, you are often surprised to see the real colour of the terrain underneath.
You keep your "gunmetal" colour paint in a jam jar.
The hills on your terrain have actually been worn down to the same level as everything else.
To you, the movement phase is a quaint formality.
You have never been laid in your life and are over 30.

Or better, once you move you realize that the entire board has faded over the years except for a several bright, colorful strips on your hills, all roughly 20cm x 200cm wide.
