My god the potential of plastic pirate types along the line of all the other very nice minis Northstar has done so far, this is very interesting news.

for some reason pirates just doesn't grab me.

Didn't GWs LotR use some sort of fate/luck extra system with limited amounts so Aragorn and Legolas could do bad ass stuff? wonder if this similar.

I do have a soft spot for pirates and their adventurer side so I'll keep a eye on this.

Foo!  Still not much interested in the game itself, but I do like to see more kits (even if they are tiny).

Which is quite alright, from the art that is out so far they look great as any sort of south old worlder brigand type.
