Its fun.

Are you asking about old or new?

My apology for not seeing Warlord's reply previously. :icon_redface:

I'd seen some reference to a new one, and wanted to learn more.

Although, I'm also wondering how it compares to the old.

I haven't played the new, only the old. I kind of hate the dungeon tile style. It's so specific to being the silver tower, when all people have really been asking for, is a re-release of the original.

Kinda like the bullshit dreadfleet they released when all people wanted was Man-o-War. And it's so expensive. Prohibitively so. These are supposed to be cheap intro games to get kids into the hobby. Not the cost as an Xbox. Which do you think the parent is going to buy?

Well, this is more an expansion while AoS is the start up with free rules and start collecting boxes. The fact the silver tower models have rules for AoS helps this while to use other heroes in the game costs $1.00 on the app for that hero's rules

@GamesPoet, can't compare to the old quest but this game is really fun with great models.

Here's some reviews:

For those that  prefer the setting of the original warhammer quest, note that Fantasy flight Games has released "Warhammer quest : the card game", a nice game set in the Old World that is a sort of simplified card version of the theme of the original Warhammer quest (not unlike what they did with blood bowl team manager).

It's a card game with no miniatures, but it's nice to be able to play in the Old World.

Also while there are only 4 heroes, it's a nice distribution : we got a dwarf warrior in armor, a sigmar warrior priest, a female wood elf archer, and a female human fire wizard

The old one was really cool.

The video game is nice.

The new one is pretty good, despite being an AoS game. I'd play it.

Old Warhammer Quest - Hours of fun! There was a time when we stopped playing Warhammer just so we could play Quest. Stopped playing because one dude (playing the witch-hunter) "broke" the game by being too OP and bending the rules.

"New" Silver Tower Warhammer Quest - Only played it once, not as fun as the original, but still entertaining. Very nice/fluid dice mechanic. Would play again. Models are super sweet. Pink/Blue Horrors? Yes please.
So, what would you guys do if some dude came at you with a belt that way?
Make sure I've got the safeword memorised.

I've played through a number of the Silver Tower scenarios, and have enjoyed it quite a bit. It's a nice way to introduce new people to the game. I'm really looking forward to trying Hammerhal some time too.
