Ebay madness - can you explain, please?
« on: January 19, 2013, 04:39:49 PM »
Hello,

Ten HQ plastics just went for over $170 in eBay.

Are these rare? Is it because of the furry stuff in the back rank?

I think those are from a pretty rare expansion pack (it wasn't even released in the UK).

But even so, it's way too much money!

Ah, I am sure there is more where mr chumley got that money from.  :engel:
It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.

The halfling was the 'prize' - the rest of the models were worth 2$ at most.

PS:  I have a couple - for WE members only 150$  first come, first serve

Ah, the Halfling...

Yeah, I now remember seeing that figure reach a hefty price before... But I didn't follow it to the end then...

Thanks for the info.

The auction started at 2,99. I can imagine the seller getting a stupid big grin as the price started to skyrocket!

The sad thing is that there were 5 people who felt that they were worth at least $100 or more. Three who thought they are worth $150 or more! Auctions don't get this high with just one person thinking they are worth a lot of money.

Provided they weren't shill bidders or summy accounts...
