I'm not a massive fan of coloured armour, but otherwise it looks good. Looking forward to the whole unit.  :-D

Out of curiousity - how much time does it take you to paint one? I'm currently painting some as well to a similar painting-level and it takes me up to 4 hours for one (just the painting itself), which is really testing my patience. I guess you do it in less than 1,5 hours.

Love those figures.  You have 60?  That is mighty fine.   :icon_cool:

Not sold on armour, faces are great though.
There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

Bit of fun here ,

I had a base coated duplicate model, and decided to go nuts with a huge palette of colours, like a painting, to finish it, not at all my usual style!

Selling on e bay if any1 wants some Chumley history !

The light aint great so I had to take the pic in night mode on dark background ,

I recon the final result has a nice realism to it  :::cheers:::

I love the weight of these metal models,

a movement tray of 40 feels solid!

Not like the terrible plastics!

I actually think the purple is excellent - unusual but it works, and the support colours are suitably muted.

Afterall purple is the 'imperial' colour - so these could well be the Emperor's personal bodyguard.

I actually like the champion a lot. I always thought that this figure is ideal for conversions. Head and arm swaps are fairly simple and effective, like your conversion shows.
Nice choice of head, too. It makes him look more veteran.
