So my plan is to build my Stormcasts on square bases (if I end up buying them) so I can use them for 8th edition too, not just Age of Sigmar.
Does anyone have a good set of 8th ed. rules for them? Maybe use Blightkings as a baseline and give the standard hammer+shield Eternals something like WS5, LD9 and reduce T to 4.
So something like this:
M - WS - BS - S - T - W - I - A - LD
4 - 5 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 3 - 5 - 3 - 9
Equipment: Mastercrafted plate armour, Sigmarite Greatshield, Sigmarite Warhammers
Mastercrafted plate armour : Grants the model a 3+ armour save.
Sigmarite Greatshield : As per normal shield rules. (6+ armour, 6+ parry). Model may reroll armour save rolls of 1.
Sigmarite Warhammers : May reroll 1's to wound against anything from Warriors of Chaos, Daemons of Chaos, Beastmen, Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings army books.
The winged bastards could have 2 hand weapons using the warhammers. Also fly.
They also have some kind of scrolls on them so could give them something like:
Blessed by Sigmar: Model benefits from a 6+ ward save. This save is increased to a 5+ against anything from WoC, DoC, Beatmen, VC and TK army books.
Basically make them stronger against Chaotic/Undead enemies. They might be a bit too strong against them now.
Open to any suggestions!
Don't come here and whine about how bad Age of Sigmar or the models are!
