Never seen those models before. They look cool. Nice job.

So, here they are...

Knighs of the blazing sun

GM wasn't purity sealed, that's why he looks a bit different. I have ended up with red lances, I wasn't sure about making them black or yellow. Little bit of nostalgia I guess... :icon_biggrin:

Ariel

I hope she doesn't look too pink, I originally went with red robe :D

Fenbeast

Treekin

Love the models especially the KotBS, but it's missing a banner!

All beautiful. Exactly what I was after!

Only feedback would be maybe another colour on Alarielle’s staff jewel... I think Green makes it too busy? Maybe a dark red type colour instead? Or orange? Or yellow?

Fenbeast is great. Much better colouring than the original.

Treekin came up really nice. Really nice. Wow!

Blazing sun are great. Not over the top, nice black and yellow contrasting. Pretty happy with them! I think I have their banner at home, so will be using that when I get them back!

Thanks for all of your feedback guys!

@Warlord Thanks! I'll try to figure aout better colour for the jewel...

Meanwhile, some more progress...

Knights panther GM

WIP old Ludwig

WIP old Karl

Regarding later two - I'm rather satisfied with most of the stuff, but  I still want to make that freehand on barding a bit better...

Beautiful models. The old models for WFB are so full of character and your painting certainly helped a lot!

Wow! They look great too! I wasn’t sure about the GM before, but very happy with that! Thanks for helping him blend with the example model!

Ludwig and Karl look great, and I love the vibrant barding!

Pretty happy with that!

Beautiful painting, beautiful minis!

I think the panther cloak is well painted, but looks a bit messy from a little distance. Camera & light may do a trick here. Otherwise, you could consider deepening the shadowed parts and maybe highlighting the more visible parts.

Thanks for you feedback again Guys!

@Zygmund - not sure about the cloak - the messy part is actually suposed to be a "panther pattern" - little black circles and shapes on the fur. I have tried to take a second look at that, but I haven't probably helped a lot...

Also I have tried to improve the freehand on the Ludwig's warhorse. I'm still not 100% sure about that...

WIP new Karl, waiting for his deathclaw...

And some more work on the Hurricanum/ Luminark...

Love the GM. I see what you were doing. And like it.

Ludwig’s freehand text looks great.

New Karl is magnificent.

Pretty happy with the Hurricanum - wondering how the Luminark interchange goes?
Forgot to provide crew! Ah well!

I think I like Ariel better now. Also, these new photos really show off the purple wings.

I think I like the flying Dire Wolf. A bit unsure about the feather colour. Its maybe too light - would darker feathers look better? Not sure - what do others think? I love the way you painted the column. I don’t know why but when I paint stonework I always feel unsatisfied.

Thanks for the update! Pretty happy with the progress! Getting close I think... I started looking at my models for what next I could send!

Awww... That cleft running through the stone pillar under the finely painted flying beast... Awww...

The Empire characters are really nice. Ludwig with the classic red and blue horse is my favourite, although the highlights of the new Emperor make him pop out. You could balance the red and blue pattern of Ludwig's horse by adding more red on the hind part. Like on the crest (now yellow/golden), or on the edge of the skirt.

The Alarielle model rouses feelings... but the paintjob with the well-controlled blending is superb. :)

The mold line?
It is super hard to get rid of on that Arcane Ruins set.

I think it's the seam between two pieces glued together. Rigorous filing fixed it for me. If the seam still shows, plastic glue, other cement or green stuff is needed, and another round of filing. Yes, that's some extra work, but not hard at all. Although without a heavy duty file it becomes super hard.

It could also be possible to camouflage the seam with painting, but I prefer 3d solutions on 3d figures. :)

Just my opinion. If it's yours, Warlord, it's yours to approve!  :smile2:

For lines like that visible due to a join I put liquid plastic glue on and then use an old brush to brush to melt away the line. I used the technique on the Games Workshop Watchtower which had very annoying join lines. I combine it with scalpel work.

It is mine...

To be honest, its probably one of the only mold lines I am ok with leaving, just because it was such a pain, and I felt the more I did to it, the more I was making it worse. Plastic cement may have worked, not sure - I don't use it all that much to be honest.

Let me see it in person first, because before it was painted, I didn't notice it all that much....
