That's different, I may try that sometime.  Is the cheese just a slice of that processed kind or cream cheese or something different?

It's mature Irish cheddar, the cheese that other cheeses wish they were!

In terms of BRN (Breakfast Related News), I had a dry croissant whilst rushing to work. We have an actor in the museum today who is playing the role of a monastic illuminated manuscript writer using real vellum and all sorts of other semi-witchcraft-like material.

What is the link between a dry croissant and an actor playing a scriba or illuminator.
It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.

It's probably what I miss the most about Ireland. Norway is like the North Korea of cheese.

They are both French

I Had two poached eggs from a neighbours hens, grilled san marizo tomatoes straight off my plants and grilled streaky smoked bacon from my local farm. Less than 1 food mile combined. With a double expresso americano, with thousands of food miles!

Oh and I had a regionally made coffee called Lakehouse Blend.  They advertise it as "perfect for sitting around on the porch and watching the sunrise".

It's what we New Englanders sometimes do pondering what hobby purchases (along with other cosmic considerations) to make from the vast array of better alternatives than GW has for shopping in the region.

 :engel:

Had it with a raspberry filled pastry from a local bakery. :icon_biggrin:

Ah to be back in New England having breakfast again. My fiance still swears by the breakfast food in Red's Cafe, Salem. Love those 'home fries' or whatever they are called  :icon_lol:

Cornflakes and a mug of tea. It has been an uninspiring breakfast experience. Who knows what tomorrow may bring?

Sometimes I forget how good breakfast can be.  This morning decided to do up some pancakes with butter and real maple syrup, wow!  Add a side order of Vienna roast coffee and it just took the top spot for yumminess. :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool:

Christmas breakfast was unreal!

A cheese omlette slowly cooked with pepper until the egg rised in all it's fluffiness, two slices of scrapple, Vienna roast coffee black, and all natural strawberry yogurt.

Mmm, mmm, good!

You're evil man. All I had today was a Hot Dog from a Gas Station and a piece of cake. I'm fasting for the big dinner. There will be Goose on the menu!

Well I'm skipping lunch to have roast beef and turkey, never had goose, yet looking forward to cooking one some day.  I'm told it's not easy.

Got to start the day with a good breakfast though!

It takes roughly 6 hours to make a goose but it's worth it. It's really heavy on the stomach but delicious as hell.
