Luminark/Hurricaum alternatives in Metal
« on: September 09, 2019, 12:04:28 PM »
Guys, as made clear a lot , i hate plastics,

Has anyone researched alternatives for empire buff wagons using metal ?

I'm thinking maybe a skaven warp cannon mounted on some sort of metal wagon?

The undead coach is too undead looking,

any other ideas from other manufacturers??

Wow, I doubt there's anything comparable elsewhere, so few people are doing big minis in metal nowadays, and it's a very specific style...

Understated would be the Mordhiem stagecoach. Just need a wizard model on it, and it would do the job.

I like that you're making an attempt on something like this, and look forward to seeing what you do. :::cheers:::

you are making your life unnecessarily miserable with that metal-only rule, but yes, the war wagon is the obvious choice for an Empire looking carriage. I mounted the plastic parts from the luminark kit on top. you would have to look for metal parts that look vaguely like the description. I guess something more gun-like for the Luminark and pretty much anything swirly-looking goes for the Hurricanum?

Couldn't you use a Trollblood War Wagon from Privateer Press as a base?
Or an old metal Steamtank?
With some armourcast terrain on top?

Perhaps the carrocio from Perry's can be of some use?

Not entirely positive if it's all metal though.
