The real decision maker is An   :engel:

Her first, and correct consideration, is the kids' exams which I think ruled out June, or most of it.

What about an October date, if nothing else works?
Don’t a lot of people have a week off then sometime?

Seems good for me.
June isn't a real option for us.

First two dates work for me. August no, I'll be in the Lake District then on the other side of the channel. And 9-10-11 november I already have a weekend with friends and that house is booked...

However being negative, maybe we should give it a miss this year.

Last year was fun for the few of us there, and enhanced by Warlord's special visit, but let's face it the numbers and enthusiasm have been dropping for a while now.
Past regulars have disappeared or not shown any interest in this year, and it seems impossible to get those still keen all together at one time.

Perhaps something can be done to the site to start bringing in new members?  We've had a few newer folks recently, and a few old timers surface occasionally, since the most recent changes.  Maybe an analysis can be done that looks at why folks have been showing up, and see if there is a way to promote increased activity and membership here.  Maybe.  Not that this is the thread for such talk. :icon_wink:

That would kill it I'm afraid.

The November option seems best atm. Brexit calmed down, no holidays for most, etc....

As for attendance : the biggest problem is that none of us play the same game system any more. If we could agree on that, I think it would be different.

Agreed on that. Let's face it, we are Warhammer-Empire.com and warhammer as such doesn't exist anymore. That makes it more of a challenge (especially for those that don't play WH40K, as it is one of the systems most widely used).

Maybe we could agree in advance to play a single edition. I would vote for 6th and have a mini tournament over the weekend

I would be really sad to not have this every year. I know I have only been a couple of times, but its part of the community. The Bash has been going for 10 years. As long as Soth wants to keep inviting us, and the organizers put all the time and work to make it happen, I will try to come.

To be honest (in my opinion) if you would regulate to only play 1 game / edition format that it would deter even more people. I don't think that the problem is people playing different games, we all comment on those beforehand anyway and make sure we all have someone to play against during the meet with most playing several games / edition anyway.

Problem I see now is getting a date where most (if not all) can actually attend on

I would be keen to agree a focus, but I wouldn't expect everyone to take part in a tournament or similar. Everyone playing mordheim 4 years ago, and frostgrave 3 years back worked really well.

I'd like to see the 9th age played, but would happily swap for kings of war or 6th edition if more people were interested.

As for dates, April and May are fine. August should be fine, but I couldn't commit for around 6 weeks, November again should be fine but can't guarantee for a while yet.

I probably cant make it in autumn this year either.
For me personally it's more about my holiday leave and budget being taken up last year by the Philly trip, and this year going to my cousins wedding in Anapolis.

I'd be keen to attend in 2020, as any Brexit practical difficulties should at least be smoothed out.
I don't care about the rules.
