Find the will and the time to proceed with The History of the Empire as Depicted in the Art of the Time.
It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.

Ooooooh!  That is a good one Fidelis. :::cheers:::

For me ... I'm creating a list of small projects that I never completed, and to start nicking away at them.

So far I have the following listed:

1. Finish painting my Knights of the Aver River
2. Finish painting 4 more 6th edition plastic spearmen
3. Finish painting 4 more crossbowmen made out of militia kit parts
4. Finish painting my Border Prince Mercenary General as an extra for my Knights of the Gold Lion unit
5. Finish painting my mounted Warrior Priest  made out of Knightly Order and Militia Kit bits
6. Finish painting my Matorean swordsmen unit

That is a good half dozen for the moment. :icon_cool:

My primary WFB project:
1. Bretonnian Army

My current warhammer fant side projects:

1. High Elf Army
2. Dwarf Army
3. Ogres Army
4. Middenland Army
5. DoW
6. Writing up new lore for my 2634 IC continuity
7. Running a 2nd Ed WFRP campaign using said lore

Planned future projects:

1. Talabecland & Talabheim Army
2. Dark Elf Army
3. O&G Army

Potential future projects:

1. Tomb Kings Army
2. Border Princes Army
I choose too keep "Old Warhammer" alive with my blood sweat and tears.

It's bad that warhammer might die but it would be a tragedy if it stays dead!

:icon_eek: Those are some mighty big projects there, Dwi.

May your efforts be persistent, and pay off big time in the long run. :::cheers:::

Keeping it very tight:

1) Finish painting a Hochland handgunner regiment.

2) Sort out & sell excess Empire bits, so that fellow hobbyists in this country can proceed with their Old/Middlehammer kitbash projects.

3) On top of this, my painting queue has some twenty models on square bases, all WFB and many Oldhammer. I hope to find the time to finish them. This month, five metal Savage Orcs got pulled to the front, and one I've already basecoated. I also bought seven Savage Orc Boarboyz last month, and getting them to meet my standard of painting is something I wish to accomplish this year. Onward from 2018, I've very slowly been building an Orc & Goblin force.

One thing I've learned is not to look past the achievable and dream of huge army projects. I'll build & paint what I fancy, when I have the time. Thus far I've fancied classic WFB often enough. There's surely a couple of thousand unpainted or semi-painted WFB/Oldhammer minis in my collection. :icon_biggrin:

I have a Megagargant on the shelf that is going to get a square base and join my Ogre Pirates.

Some day...

That second one is an interesting item.  Imagine I have more bits than is healthy for me.  However, the sorting part, tried that further back, although quite the chore. May yours go full speed ahead!

This ought to be cool when it is complete. :icon_mrgreen:

Getting the basics together to play.

I have enough painted models for my Empire and my wifes Dark Elves, but clearly there are more in the painting queue as enough is never really enough.

Finish my town of Stoodhoff.
Finish making then paint my castle walls.

Then when that is done and I am bored of the 2 armies, maybe start a 3rd.
Looks like a good start on the walls! :icon_cool:

One of the cool things with Empire is making new units.  A person can add a whole new army just by doing that alone.

My overall project is all the things from 6th edition. But I'm actually pretty close to done that lol. Just a couple of the white dwarf army lists to pad out to 3k

My current goal is a Middenland/cult of ulric addition to my empire army. I think I have all the models, and I've started the painting process.

Next would be buying and assembling a zombie pirate list, then some little bits and pieces i need to flush out my other armies that i already have bought, just not painted

Work on Dogs of War.
Work on Wood Elves.
Averland needs more knights. Also Demi Chickens based on bas_2312 amazing work.
Warriors of Chaos...lots of work.
I may disagree with what you say but I respect your right to be punished for it.
