Finally, here it is!

ell, it’s been a long, long wait, but the new site design is here. Not fully finished, but here. Everyone should give Grutch a big hand for creating such great artwork; it really is a breath of fresh air after our last setup.

For the next little while not everything will work the way that it usually does, but be assured that we are working hard to bring back all of the old functionality to the site and eventually add some completely new features.

Hope everyone enjoys!  :biggriin:

Looks fantastic, great work Grutch! The artwork on the front page is excellent, and the page as a whole appears stylistically stream-lined and less busy, which is good for the eyes and quickly orients the user.

When I typed in the address this evening, I was scared at first that something happened to the site or that I typed in the wrong address when I did not see the familiar red, but with the stream-lining my attention was immediately diverted to the name of the site. This is excellent visual focusing.

My answer will not be as graphically knowledgable as Carlo's, but simply I LOVE IT. I saw the artwork a while back when you guys were fiddling around I think, and it is VERY well made. I really like the new Logo / Title thingy with Warhammer-Empire over it. Like Carlo said, much more stylish and streamlined feeling.

And, 'Home' actually works from the Forum page now  :biggriin:

Nice work! The old one looked good, the new one looks even better. What I find most appealing at first site is that everything is clearly arranged and can be found without much searching even by people who visit the site for the first time. Really, really good job - thank you for all the effort.

Edit:  And I noticed that Grutch has fixed the formating problem with Windows Explorer version 7.  Thank you again.

Allthough I'm not around here very much anymore (thanks to  Mr. McNeill's best efforts), loggonh in today made for quite pleasant surprise when I saw the new artwork (allthough I'm a little disappointed that you didn't go with the "member faces drawn onto imperial soldiers"-approach that was in the talking for a while ;) ).  :happy:
