Love the models.  Im glad they released these, as both Thunderwolves and Tervigons are essential units in their respective codexes.

Two boxes of those wolves (at least) will be a central part of My Mystery Project when I have this army done (or get fed up of painting black cloth, drybrushed armor and white crosses).

Those are the best dog/wolf like things GW has done yet...I can see those also making an appearance as dire wolves, chaos hounds etc.

Space wolves can have units of actual wolves these days? What a sheltered life I've apparently led!

I think the more important choice are the giant wolves they ride to battle...especially as you can do the wound allocation shenanigans with them.

I want to make a unit of guard rough riders on wolves. They'd look so much more dangerous than they actually were!

None of that!

I was tempted to just use the wolves as rough riders.  I am trying to find a way I can use them in one of my armies.  Thunderwolves are considerably more useful in games terms though.

I was thinking about your big bug army and shuddering when I saw those beasties, Shadowwolf.

Mental note.... Need more and more powerclaws before ever challenging Shadowwolf again.

And them fenrisian wolves looks so smashing! I think I might swiftly incorporate some in my Wood elf army as they would fit my winter theme.
