The other day a friend was telling me there's a rule for flying monstrous cavalry...I was unaware of this...
Can anyone point me to it, or debunk this for me? Thanks! :::cheers:::

Unit that has the Flying Cavalry special rule has both Fly and Fast Calvary (Bretonnia I think). If it only has the 'fly' special rule than no, no vanguard.
pg. 70 for fly
pg. 68 for fast cavalry.

What Ambrose says (for once, I was slower :icon_wink: :icon_wink:). Captasi cannot Vanguard. Flying Cavalry, being Fast Cavalry, can Vanguard. But the Flying cavalry is special rule distinct from the Fly special rule. The Fly special rule does not give you Fast Cavalry or Vanguard.
BRB p. 70:
FLYING CAVALRY
Some units, such as the noble Bretonnian Pegasus Knights, have the Flying Cavalry special rule — a particularly effective type of flying unit. In rules terms, flying cavalry are treated as Fast Cavalry with the Fly special rule. See page 68 for more details on Fast Cavalry.

Fidelis, you still say it better and have more complete responses. I was just in the right place at the right time. :::cheers:::
