"Desmond, would you mind?" mutters Bane, clearly still sour from all the failed engagements that they've partook in. "I think you'll be able to explain this better than me" he adds, with a slight rasp.

Here in Poland we're playing a lot of 6th edition WFB and 8th edition as well. WFB seems to be holding exceptionally well here. I don't know about any serious KoW or T9A scene tough.

"Son of a grox" mutters Bane under his nose, and then sighs heavily. "All right men, we're RTB. Captain's orders. Move out, standard defensive formation. You two - grab what's in that box". Icarus shoulders the body of his dead armsman and goes out into the corridor.

Work some green stuff on that tail and maybe shorten it up a bit and voila - you should be good. :-P

Yep, definitely a rat.  Probably pretending to be a wolf, and hiding in a space marine unit.

Space Skaven confirmed!

That's not a wolf! That's a huge-ass rat! :biggriin:

Still - great model, and really intimidating.

Great Vostroyan conversion. I really dog your skills. :eusa_clap:

"Bastards have their grubby, little fingers in all manner of rat-pies" grumbles Bane, while coming to the asistance of Desmond. "Ricker, these guys are affiliated with the Administratum Oeconomica Imperialis! This is getting serious. Do you see anything on a ship-wide scan? We're walking into more and more traps at every moment" Icarus spurts, frustratedly.

For me the last good game was Battlefield 3. Love it, played so much of this title.

That’s true. That was also the last I played. Loved that version too. Some of the helicopter pilots were so good I had to wonder if they were modding. You just couldn’t kill them. I even tried parking a tank on a hill to get the right trajectory. Once in awhile that would pay off.

I've actually managed to snipe a few choppers with a tank destroyer, during two matches. It was really funny, especially since I did that from a considerable distance. :-P

I really like the way in which the third WP holds his hammers, like "I don't give a crap, yo". :-P

The top one is an Ostlander, right? The bottom one is from Talabheim? Anyway - they're really nice. :eusa_clap:

Nuln stands! Thank you Rogers. :smile2: Yes, I love that industrial city with a passion, not only because of its army's awesome color scheme, love for guns, heavy firepower and a cosmopolitan approach. No, it's mainly due to the fact that some of my best RPG experience is from running games in the Jewel of the South.

Out of curiosity - I presume that you'll try and paint most of them, as true to canon? So we'll see Deliverance from Nuln, for example?

Very interesting read. I must say that a Guard regiment with a "Raiders of the Lost Ark" vibe si something truly refreshing and cool! :smile2:

Grandfather is a merciful god, so you shall be fine. We'll await your return. :-P

If a game leaves such strong impressions on you, then it means that it's great. I had a similar thing with Deus Ex and VTM: Bloodlines, and with Battlefield 3 for online games. All are exceptional titles.

DoW 1 > Winter Assault > Dark Crusade > Soul Storm. ;)

Loved them all! Really liked the first two trailers as well. I Remember being hooked with the Blood Raven and Ork bash up. The necron wasteland was great too. I liked the first hand view from a dreadnought. Until the end of course.

Oh yeah, DoW trailers are always top notch. Shame about the ultimate shitfest that DoW 3 turned out to be. Some brands should be left alone, after all...

I've seen mostly good things. The majority of criticism is focused more on the DLC method, and some complains about making a second game so soon after the first. In regards to the actual gameplay I hear its good.

I got the first one from humble bundle for 12 dollars a couple of months ago. Incredibly worth it. I've sunk a lot of hours into it, but I doubt I'd have bought it at full price. DLC wise I only have the warriors of chaos DLC which is okay, but the other factions are better.

Releasing a game so soon after its predecessor isn't necessarily a bad thing, especialy if they work together, which the TW:W do. Vermintide 2 will be announced very soon, and already peeps all over the net are complaining that it's "too soon". I, for one, am very happy about it, since the first game was great. Why then not release a sequel sooner than later? We are waiting for a new Call of Duty or Battlefield for at least a year, every year, and often than not, these titles are average at best. Same with movies - I hate the long wait for Infinity Crisis and other blockbuster sequels. If there's someone who's breaking this trend, then I'm more than happy to see that succeed.

"Desmond, keep your head down" barks Icarus, as he trains his pistol on the chest and fires three bolts towards it. Just in case.
