I'm currently trying to paint a gold wizard and i'm not sure how to go about painting the yellowish like color. I would appreciate any help on this grealy. So please, help.

Basically, this log will contain all my none empire stuff like Lizardmen, Warriors of Chaos, Chaos dwarfs, and what everelse isn't commission work or empire. So lets begin with what i'm working on, and that would be Lizardmen.

The Scar-Vet. model is one of my favorite models that GW has released and was very fun to paint. The saurus warriors are one of my favorite units to paint. This isn't the end as I have more i'll be painting.

Skinks skermichers are something I have to finish before the middle of this month as I will be particapaiting in a paint and play in my local area. The skink chief I got with a stegadon I have yet to paint up. I plan on either buying him a terradon or convert up a horned one. I'll have to see.

Today was my first tournement. In my local area theirs a fantasy tournement called the March Hare. Here my empire list I took.

So I woke up at the but crack of dawn to go.

Here's a buddy paintng before the tournement began.

When everybody was signed in their were 26 people playing. And with everybody signed in we played our first game.

Game #1
My first apponent was a jolley Orc and Goblin player with Grimgor in his army. I was an idiot and charged my inner circle knights into them and lost. The rest of the game didn't go well for me. I did happen to kill his giant with crossbows and a unit of handgunners in one turn though. In the end it was a lose for me.

After that game it was launch time.

Mmmmm..... Fooooood...........

Game #2
My next apponent was an army guy with Vampires. This went totaly south real quick. My units ran willy nilly and he had a tone of blood knights. Another lose.

With two loses under my belt I wasn't to happy but we had one more game to go.

Game #3
My last apponnent was a brettonian player. This was a very challenging game but was very fun. He tried to flank me with pegasus kights but my helblaster and pistoliers made short work of them. My inner circle knights were unfortunetly pinned down in combat with knights errant until th end of the game. But I did cut one of his knights of the realm and grail knights under three fourths of their units thx to the helblaster and the spell rule of burnning iron. In the end it was a tie.

In the end I had 0 wins, 1 tie, and 2 losses. Thought it would be worse. When Russ counted up the battle points I wasn't dead last but I got 19 out of 26 players. Next time I plan to do another army other then Empire. Either Lizardmen, Warriors of Chaos, or Dwarfs. Anyway had a fairly fun time and I can't waitto play next year.

Anyway I will have more stuff up a little later this week.

Obviously i'm starting warriors of chaos of tzeentch that im basing of the Warhammer Online chaos faction.

OK so for the past year or so people have been telling me that I should paint up miniatures for cash. Well I got to thinking and decided that they were on to something. So for the last couple months or so I've been taking a few commissions and seeing were it would go and how much I could charge and so on. But soon I began to realize that their aren't a lot of people in my local area who want their miniatures painted by yours trully. So with some sound words from my local gaming buddies I decided to grab some miniatures to make small armies and sell them on ebay. With this log I hope to get good advice and possibly get some customers for my new little buisness. Swith out further adue here are some pics to get things roling.

First I'll be showing pics of commissions i've done for people in my local area.



Painted this up for a guy who has yet to come get it from me. He paid $13.00 for it. I hope he likes it.


This was one I did I while back before I had actual prices for how much I paint things. The guy paid $13.00 and really liked it.

Now here are some things that will be going on ebay.






These two will be part of an Empire army from Wissenland I intend to sell. I like the way the Caption on foot turned out, much better than how it was before. However I'm stuck on the mounted wizard. I intend to grab a 20 state troops and make them swordsmen and grab ten handgunnersnfor their detachment along with some nights, outriders, and a great cannon.




This lot will obviously be an O&G army thats going on ebay as well. I have a Night Goblins shaman that needs to be started and a unit of night goblins that need to be bought sence I'm using all my BFSP ones as hobgoblins. I'll also probably grab about 20 black orcs, an orc chariot, and a black orc character to finish the whole force off.

So what do you guys think?

*The prices will varies depending on both what type of war machine you have and if you want it on a base in the first place.

Test Mini: To see if you want me to paint for you, you are allowed one free miniature for me to paint. This miniature can be painted and worked on until you are satisfied. One test miniature is allowed per army for other armies you want me to paint.

WOW! What an army. I do have more i'll be doing for this army in the future so don't think it's over yet. But that will be for a little later on(after I get all the video games, anime, manga, comics, and movies i've been waiting to get). But at least with this lot done I can also start collecting and working on more Chaos Dwarfs and either start collecting more than Warriors of chaos(I only got one character at the momment) or save and wait until August and and get the new Dark Elves. Until I decide the dramatic gopher will have to keep you guys occupied.

This is mainly stuff for TOFP that i'm doing for this months 200 points.

For this month i'm basiclly adding to my big blocks of infanrty and detachment. Also i'm working on something I've been really itching to do for about six months now which is paint up some hunts men. So with out further postponment here are pics.

First up are the additions to the halbedier detachments.

Quit pleased with how they're turnning out and really can't wait to see them finished. Now I just have to build 3x3 movement trays.

Next are the swordsmen additions.

I've really enjoyed painting up my Middenland swordsmen and these guys are no different. Although to be honest I kinda wish I hand more sword arms to give them and make them look really awsome.

Now here are the spearmen additions.

Like how they are coming along as well. The Middenheim troops i've painted have always had me a bit worried becouse of the white. I've always worried if their was enough white on them. But I think they turned out alright none the lease.

Finally here are the huntsmen.

I've been really wanting to paint my huntsmen/archers up for some time now and thought that this would be a good time to do just that. They have back packs made out of dwarf miner, ogre, outrider/pistoliers, and other assorted bitz i'm not to shure about.

Anyway thats what i'm working on.

Over the past few weeks I have played against the guy who runs our game nights who has been playing VC sence it came out and every time I've played him I've lost...... HORRIBLY!  One of his favorite things to do is really use that Raise dead spell to redirect my charges if i kill off the happy little zombies he so happily raises. I find quickly I don't have enough dispel dice so I can't stop those things from rissing up. So any help you can give me for to stop VC would be very helpfull.

OK so here's my problem. I have A griffon i'm painting up and I know I want the bird half to be Bald Eagle and cat half to be Mountain Lion. My only problem is I can't figure out how to get the colors I want for the mountain lion half. Here are pics that might help.


ANy help on this is very much apreciated. And also if you think you have a better idea for the cat half then let me know.
