The Electors' Forum / A question on forum abbreviation

hey guys love reading this forum especially the army list and painted models (giving me ideas on how to assemble and make my army), but what does the term nilla knights mean ? is it some kind of special set up or are these just standard cavalry?

Ok , so iv been working quietly away on a 2000 point army list, reading others on this lovely forum and building up some ideas from others, what i dont understand is why do some people want to put there detachments in 3x3 , whats the advantage of this? why not go for 5x2 ? im more than willing to believe its something iv miss read in the rule book.

Does anyone have a picture or know how well the two handed weapon from the militia sprue match up with the state troop bodies ?, thinking of making some great swordsmen from it,

Idea behind the list is , cavalry manoveur around the table picking on units they can tackle supporting each other, while the rest of the force stay put defensively until attacked,

The Parade Ground / Greetings, some advice needed

Hello , iv recently decided to collect an Empire army and came across this forum loving what I reading , I already have a 2000 point aggressive Demon Army, 1500 point Goblin mounted force  and a huge collection of Chaos Mortals.

Now to the point of my first post here, the reason I chose the Empire for my next army is I love the fluff behind the Empire aswell as the model range (im more of a painter and modeller than player)

I looked on the gamesworkshop website for some ideas as to were to start with the army, and came across the tactica on how to use Empire cavalry (the Knights being what really drawn me to collect Empire) the army list they supply seems a bit of a mish mash ill post it below for you to see:

Templar Grand Master (Reiksguard)   Laurels of Victory, Sigil of Sigmar
Warrior Priest   Horse, Barding, Great Weapon, Armour of Meteoric Iron
Battle Wizard (level 2)   Horse, Shroud of Magnus
Master Engineer   Light Armour, Repeater Pistol, Mechanical Steed,
10 Knights of the White Wolf   Full Command Banner of the Daemon Slayer
10 Reiksguard Knights   Full Command
5 Knights of the Blazing Sun   Full Command   
10 Reiksguard Knights (Inner Circle)   Full Command Steel Standard
10 Pistoliers   Musician and Outrider
5 Outriders   

This is what they recommend for a 2000 point army, Im not looking for a tournament winning list , just something I can play in friendly games, I already have made the choice as to not have my core units of knights being 10 strong, but 5/6 with just a musician.

My model range at the moment is unassembled but I have sitting on my desk:

Battalion Box set
Box of Empire Knights (giving me 16 in total)
Box of Outriders (giving me 10 in total)
Empire Wizard set (bits to convert both into mounted wizards if needs be)
Empire Hero Box set

Any suggestions on the above list any pointers always welcomed....
