I just advertised your services to a friend of mine, who wants his Kingdom Death game painted....

Perhaps you can already look at what it entails...

Also, my sons have gotten me seemingly addicted to Pokemon.  Been around since it's inception, but not until recently have I taken the plunge.

Elaborate please..

Pokemon series / movies watching?

Pokemon video games playing?
a. On console?
b. On handheld (gameboy of old for example)
c. On phone (pokemon go)

Pokemon Trading Card game?

Pokemon merchandise collecting?

there are so many options when considering Pokemon :)

You should see the people from Pokeplay, the Belgian Pokemon association. They gather in our local on occasion.

Are there folks around that can repair such machines?

I'm not one of the most mechanically adept, and would prefer to pay someone to fix such items.

There are, and you end up paying way to much. My advice if you're not that mechanically adept : Let someone else do your printing.

I feel it is now accessible to all.

With a 500€ budget, you can start printing. Of course, it won't be at the speed of the bigger machines, but the result will be similar.
The thing you cannot buy however is the know-how and experience you need to keep your printer running, because trust me, every few hundred hours it needs maintenance. Think replacing nozzles, tubes, heating elements, drive gears etc...

So before you buy a printer ask yourself if you have time for an extra hobby, because that is what you will be getting into.

That said, it is way too fun and I don't regret starting with it for a moment ! But after working a couple of years with FDM (2 Makerbot Replicator II's), I feel the itch for resin and proper mini printing.

But for now, I am too distracted by my newest toy : a lasercutter.....

This is the idea :

Arrive on friday. get stuff into the club and then have dinner together
Saturday : go to Crisis together (carpooling) half hour drive. Those who really do not want to, have free use of the club, provided one of them is a regular. No offense, but before leaving you alone with the clubs' booze and money, I need to know you a few years.
Evening : Gaming
Sunday : Gaming
Monday : Gaming

You may or may not get food and sleep at some point.

Hold your horses.

I need to confirm all availabilities. And see if I can find enough plates for that birthday cake somebody will have to bring.

I'd like to see the 9th age played, but would happily swap for kings of war or 6th edition if more people were interested.

Just bought the books !

However being negative, maybe we should give it a miss this year.

Last year was fun for the few of us there, and enhanced by Warlord's special visit, but let's face it the numbers and enthusiasm have been dropping for a while now.
Past regulars have disappeared or not shown any interest in this year, and it seems impossible to get those still keen all together at one time.

That would kill it I'm afraid.

The November option seems best atm. Brexit calmed down, no holidays for most, etc....

As for attendance : the biggest problem is that none of us play the same game system any more. If we could agree on that, I think it would be different.

Then perhaps this weekend is a fun change of pace ?
Visiting Crisis collectively and then 2 days of gaming ?

Not funny at all.
It also means that roads will be blocked, and that generally speaking having the bash at that time would be a bad idea.

I'm sorry for the short notice, but I'm glad I caught it at this point in time.

This is not a small event I'm talking about :

https://www.special-olympics.be/nl/nationale-spelen-2019/

Facts Nationale Spelen 2018:3397 athletes + 57 Unified partners
  • 19 sports
  • 317 sports clubs
  • 3035 volunteers
So, whatever else we decide on, MAY IS OUT OF THE QUESTION !

Complication Gents the may date coincides with the Special Olympics here in St Niklaas.
There probably won't be a hotel room left in the city.

It asks for a ‘to-list’ email address, which implies we need to know the email address of the person we are sending to? Has anyone sent any messages? What did you use as the ‘to-list’ email address?
wrong location then

Here is where you need to be :
