If you also do a search on kickstarter by cities you can see where the specific project is located, and while most are American not all of them are. You don't have to be an American company to be on kickstarter :

Why not put this on Kickstarter in a month, rather then on a less known site, at the same time as mantic ?

I like the sound of :
[$23.750] Dwarf Bear Warriors: 10 multi-component WarCast miniatures regiment of Dwarf Warriors in bear disguise.

There is also Darksword miniatures which does GoT miniatures:
http://darkswordminiatures.com/mainwebsite_html/store2GRRM.htm

There is also this mod coming out for Mount and Blade Warband. Mount and Blade Warband is only about £13 on steam and the mod is going to be free.It would be considerably cheeper then buying aload of new miniatures.

There is a beta for the end of summer and depending on how good your PC is you could have battles between 75 + . The game as standard allows people to have battles which have 150 people in it and there being more reinforcements , after so many die. There is a mod which allows you to increase the size of the battle to the amount your computer can manage though so you could have 250 on each side, or more.

Check the link below so see some of the kick ass armours it has. The mod will allow you to execute other lords, so can kill Roose, the Walders etc . You can also issue battle orders, and raise troops if your a lord, and marry various people.

This was fun last year. Sing me up.

Dawnstone is a great item for mounted characters as it lets you re-roll armour saves. Having 2+ re-rollable is a great thing.

At the recent doubles tournament they asked if people would mind if other people used warhammer forge rules. Hopefully they will decide based on the feedback from the poll and will probably allow people to bring warhammer forge rules in the future.

Can you? At least without the consent of your adversary? And if I am not mistaken, with Lietpold, you are not allowed to take any WP (i.e. including AL) or the Steam Tank.

You would need the consent but chances are they wouldn't object. At the recent warhammer doubles tournament they asked if people didn't mind bringing FW stuff and all the people I asked said they where fine with it, it there where limits on the Destroyer/CD war machines.

Also, loosing WP isn't a major blow, and while loosing steam tanks is an issue, you get to take a unitof ironguts/Quarrellers .

If you think swordsmen are overcosted then you should use the version from Tamurkhan, because ,erm, well erm, yeah they are overcosted as well.

Why not use Lietpold from the Tamurkhan book, as he has a D3 weapon ?

The Electors' Forum / Re: How do you run your Lvl. 4?
« on: April 25, 2012, 12:25:50 AM »
1. What Lores do you run you Lvl. 4 with?
Shadow, or life.

2. How do you equip your Lvl. 4?
mainly with a dispel scroll, with 4++

3. What unit do you place your Wizard Lord and why?
Mainly a unit of archers. I like a unit that is manouverable, By also keeping it on foot I can switch-a-roo with a model on foot.

4. Greatest Lore you have had success with?
Shadow. It is so versatile, and even if I don't get pit of shades, I'll probably get Mindrazor. It is rare that you wont get either. I also like withering for killing ogres, or enfeebling foe to neuter a foe. Most of the spells are useful in some way. Smoke and mirrors is also a fun lore attribute, as if you are playing blood and glory you can save a bsb or your general.

To be fair Tamurkhan is all about attacking Wissenland. I was surprised that the elector for Wissenland wasn't in the Empire book, as it wasn't in Tamurkhan, and she was a main character in it.

Maybe they are trying to add more fluff to Wissenland, or maybe it's a coincidence.

PS: Teclis is missing one of his orbs of sorcery. It's a sphere of pure magic with the ability to control the very heavens. If anyone sees it please send it to Ulthuan and we will reimburse you the cost of shipping.

Has he looked under his robes?

Why would he look there?  Never ever has there been balls under an elf's robes.   :closed-eyes:

Good one  :::cheers:::

Mace of Helstrum could work, as he only has one attack anyway.  :icon_mrgreen:

Put some +1 to hit chariots near him, take a lv 4 and a lv 2 with light to make sure you get the spell you need, and cast "The Speed of Light," on him to make him deadly.

Or put him in a unit with a warrior priest for the hatred, place some +1 to hit chariots nearby, and he's good to go.

Fear the Engineer ! :biggriin:

The Electors' Forum / Re: Question regarding Empire 8th pre-order
« on: April 14, 2012, 02:12:05 PM »
I never pre-order as I can get stuff at me FLGS for 10 % off. However, for some reason I got 20% with all the new Empire. :icon_mrgreen:

I'd do it, and I'm a 2nd year maths student. I'd only do it for awhile though, and wouldn't be there in 10 years.

I use the questing knights for brets, with various other models thrown in to bulk out the unit.
