My superglue of choice is Loctite also. However I don't use the gel.
I prefer the 'Loctite Super Glue Precision'.
It's nozzle is tiny, and the 'pot' area where the glue is stored is squeezable, meaning you can control how much glue you want VERY easily. The entire thing is clear (besides the label) so you can see where the glue is, any blockages (rare) and how much you have.
Its a 5g (I would have though mL) so it has heaps of glue in there. Like Midaski says, ensure that there is no glue in the nozzle or tube - which is quite easy as its a solid 'pot' at the base that you can squeeze, which when done right sucks the glue back in.
On occasion, after you have used about 70% of the glue, a little bit of glue may solidify at the nozzle - this generally signifies the beginning of the end. With a pin, you can push the solidified glue back into the tube, however superglue will start conjesting in this area with more use. The good thing is, by this time you have generally used all the glue.
I love it - just bought 4 packets a few days ago because I had run out.
